Value for Money
The location is good for relaxing trip, staff are friendly and worth for the price.
Overall it is nice to stay there. If you wish to out from the town or busy life, this is the place where you should choose. However, the condition of the room need to be upgraded. Well, what else can you say since you are just paying this money for the hotel...

Traditional Malay style accomodation
Loved the traditional styling and originality. Quality of workmanship rough and filmsy. The updated strong hot shower and wc good though not 4 star. Need better cleaning of dust and cob webs but good daily cleaning. Light switches old fashion but unreliable. Had to get light bulbs replaced first nite though responded well. TV too small for big room and volumn too low with no remote and very limited Astro choice, low volumn and no remote. The power supply points connection doggy. Swimming pool swamp by local fully clothes in water despite signage and limited time access not imposed. Staff friendly.

Lovely staff - very dirty rooms
The staff was so sweet, serviceminded and the view from the balcony was lovely
The staff was absolutely service-minded and very sweet, the food was delicious, but the place is very old and worn out. The rooms was very dirty, not cleaned for a long time, mouse feces in the closet, and old sheets with wholes in.

Working wifi needed
traditional style, it is located in a quite place, it is about 20 km from any place
The hotel is very well located if you prefer quite places far from the crowds. However, you will definitely need to rent a car or bike if you don't want to hire a taxi at least twice a day. There were some minor issues in the room such broken doors to the shower (we stayed in two rooms during 4 days and both had broken doors), few cobwebs, the TV signal was basically not available (but there was Malay TV available anyways) and so on. The biggest problem for us was that the wifi was working relatively reliably only in the lobby. Everywhere else the networks were available but not working. When I asked in the reception I was told that it sometimes work and sometimes not (during the four days it worked once - every second request or so). On the other hand, the rooms are quite clean, the location is great and the whole resort looks great both day and night.

Good for Sleep
Quiet , nature , privacy
Just a nice hotel for sleep . With a very quiet environment plus the privacy pool . Don't expect much with the price you paid .

rat in the room!
This is the only negative review I've written in 23 years of Asian travel but it was a truely horrible lived experience. No hot water in the shower, toilet didn't flush and couldn't be used, room was never cleaned over three days, TV has one channel, 25rm for a taxi to town so 50rm round trip, staff nominate a taxi price 25 one day 30 the next, no internet in room only in hotel reception. Two rats live in the room 1091. They use the picture rails to move between other rooms. Be advised if you have a wife it is not worth the grief to stay here as the rat problem will be brought up for the next 5 years and will always be your fault. I have stuffed towels into the rails connecting the brooms so good luck to the next unfortunate souls.
