Good location
Good location, friendly staff, clean room
We chose this hotel is because it is close to the Namba station(10 min walk) since we need to catch the early flight. The location is good, because it's close to many restaurants and shopping malls. However, that is also the problem. It was very noisy on Friday night, that we could not fall asleep. The windows are towards the noisy street but they always keep the curtain closed, even though we opened once when we left the room but it was closed when we come back. The room is big enough for three people, but it smells like the fried rice, maybe because it's next to the kitchen and the windows are closed.

Good first Ryokan experience
Location, room, service
It was a good first experience staying in a Ryokan. The service was good and the room was everything I expected. Only thing lacking is a water kettle in the room for hot water and the toilet had a stale smell. Nothing a good 2 hours of ventilation couldn't solve.

Good river view, wish had better air con!
Location was close to shops and eateries, liked the public bath they have, liked the view of river from room
I thought that the air con in my room did not work very well and there was a constant cigarette smell in the room that even I sprayed lots of air freshener I couldn't get rid of it. Although it's a non smoking room, I think it probably used to be one. The fact that it's in Doronburi means that if you go to bed early you will still hear all the outside noise. I don't recommend families with young children to stay here as this street seems to be the red light district with prostitutes standing on side of the street. However they are generally rather polite and didn't bother me too much. This would be ideal for young people to stay as it's near clubs, shops and restaurants.

Rude staff
I feel so unwelcome by a staff there (only at reception). They treated you like a school student. We have to come back to hotel at certain time, and by leaving a luggage with them, you have to come back EXACTLY as you told otherwise they will say something rude to you.
