Scam Hotel - Avoid under all cost
I'm an well experienced traveler & stay in places ranging from a 5 star to a dormitory without much fuss. I usually never leave a negative remark for hotels that i stay in. But this hotel is an exception & so are its owners & I'm compelled to write this review out of sheer disgust. This Hotel looks good in its pics, in reality its a complete run-down hotel & looks like its not been cleaned for ages. I had to change my room twice because of a/c not working, the food was horrible. The swimming pool is not what you see in the pics, its was insanely dirty & muddy, the pool water was not even treated. This didn't bother me as much as what I'm about to disclose. The young sweet talking owner is an absolute scamster, he & his friends not only helped themselves with my drinks which i had brought for personal consumption but also invited me for some family wedding where i had to shell out money for buying beer for his entire group at my cost. He also hired a cab to go for the wedding with a bunch of friends & i had to pay for the entire return fare. None of this was communicated to me before we left the hotel & i didn't even see it coming. It was a complete rip off from every angle. I would have been more than happy to treat all his friends with drinks & even pay for the transport if i was told that they were expecting me to. But the just took my friendliness for granted. Avoid this place at all costs, there are a lot of good hotels near the city center.

Good place out of hassle of town
Internet, room size, cleanliness
The stay at the hotel was good. It is out of the main downtown of Luxor which was really nice. No hassles at all and if you didn't want to take a taxi into town you could jump on a minibus for 1EGP. The breakfast was average and the pool was ok. Strangely it was actually a bit on the cool side considering the hot weather. It seem the pool only get sun in the morning and doesn't have a chance to warm up that much. I did swim in it twice. The morning swim was the best. For what you pay it was one of the best places I stayed in Egypt.

Excellent service
Free wi fi. Good customer service. Clean bedroom
Stayed at this hotel before and have recommended it to friends Once again great service. Breakfast was brought to the bedroom when requested. I spent a lot of time around the pool which was cleaned daily. Prices for food and drink cheap. There is also a clothes washing service near by. No hassle outside the hotel .

Friendly staff, comfortable room cheap and clean
cheap, friendly staff, and clean beds
This hotel, I would say maximum 3*, but it had lovely friendly staff that would do anything for you. The bed was clean and the room, and for the price I paid I can't complain. There was no hassle outside from Taxi's / calesh drivers, by far a more relaxed area. Breakfast was a typical Egyptian breakfast, bread, cheese, jams and an egg omlette. It wasn't in the town centre, but easy to get to in 5 mins. The local bus stopped outside. Genisis night club was handy it was not even a 2 min walk

No hassle
Comfortable bed, free wi fi, cheap food and drink
My stay at the Karnack Hotel was peaceful, no hassle outside the hotel. The staff I found to be pleasant not in your face like other hotels I've stayed at. The best thing about this hotel is the comfortable bed, clean sheets every day. I booked a suit and it was worth paying the extra for as it has sofas where you can sit and have food from room service. There is free wi fi. In bedrooms and by the pool. I found the food cheap and to a high standered.. I would give the German restaurant next door a miss and eat at The Karnack Hotel instead. The sites are easy to get to from this hotel I used a Taxi firm called Mr Oscar who I found to be reliable. I'm staying at this hotel again in June.
