Average hotel

The set up of the hotel is nice with rooms around the pool
We stayed with 3 friends in this hotel. It was ok. The rooms and bathrooms were large and clean, but the hotel lacks atmosphere, especially the restaurant. The food was not bad.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: We went to Yala national park from here, which is near by.

Lovely hotel with great location and nice garden

beautiful garden
We were there before the climbing of the Sigiya Rock. There is a swimming pool we liked it, but we did not get any beer! The Staff was excelent, we got a fruit platter in the room.

Simple, quiet and would recommend

excellent food, clean, good pool and relaxed
A little bit out of the way yet very relaxed, spacious, clean, friendly staff. Clean and excellent buffet food (which normally makes us nervous!!) Pool very clean Only negative comment is the gardens could be beautiful with a little more effort

Great service, great location but lacks ambience

Great service
The service was very professional but the place feels like a safari med club, lots of families with kids and big groups and buffet that fits everyone. Good for relation but lucks any authentic charm. Not a bad deal for what you get.

Lovely hotel and great service

our villa, great pool
Great hotel to stay just perfect after long climbs up rock and in caves. The pool was just right, there is a huge selection of food on the buffet and it was fantastic. Beautiful setting and very peaceful.

Average resort hotel, big rooms

Good value for money
Features we appreciated : - Quiet surroundings - Simply decorated rooms, but quite large and with a nice bathroom (open air shower) - Great swimming pool - Cleanliness Not so satisfactory : - Food : very basic buffet, little à la carte choice ; not tasty - Big groups in the dining room, lack of intimacy - Quite far from Sigiriya village, not so convenient when it comes to looking for a restaurant This hotel is a "standard" resort, which avoids unnecessary exotic decoration and remains simple. It is mainly dedicated to groups tourism, not so attractive for individuals. Poor quality of the food remains its main drawback. Nevertheless, it offers a good value for money, taking into consideration Sigiriya's tourist attraction.

Individual huts and great breakfast

The buffet breakfast was good and we could see the lions rock from a distance. The staff were great as they allowed us to check in at 7am! Enjoyed our stay!

Lovely hotel, not a good service

The rooms, located all around, in one floor and two floor buildings
we received a room on the second floor of a not very nice building. the steps going up to the second floor, where close to a bungalow used by staff, with hanging cloth and rubbish around the path to our room. the room that we got, was very big, unusual design, modern, and with a view to the sigiriya rock. there was no options to make tea or coffee. the bed was very comfortable. internet is not possible in the rooms, nor by cable or wifi. if you want internet, you have to hook up in the reception and pay a fortune per hour. the reception team smile at you and try to be polite, but it's only a mask, since the general behavior is not good.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Sigiriya rock, amazing place, don't miss it.
