Satisfied short stay

Cleanliness, comfort, location
Outside and stairs a little dowdy, staff pleasant, room very comfortable, location excellent for us. Breakfast satisfactory (continental in nearby Cafe). Car parking nearby at 6 Euro overnight. The one 'hassle' we had was the one way system and road works around Trinity, the quays, and south of Dame street. Although we will certainly use the hotel again I will check out the road works beforehand.

Central comfort

Room & location.
Room was lovely and quaint - Right in the centre of the city with easy access everywhere! Will definitely stay here again

Short stay in Dublin

Good location, nice bar, friendly staff
Stayed overnight at Kellys Hotel which is centrally located in Dublin around the Temple Bar area. Very hard to find at first but is located on the first level above the bar area (reception area). The room was fairly comfortable, included continental breakfast and free wifi. I think the expectation a traveler should have when going to Dublin is that if you are staying anywhere in the city centre, good chance its going to be noisy. Fortunately through the week, the music at the pub downstairs ended around midnight on a week night so this wasn't much of a problem. Overall we had a fairly pleasant stay and would return again if we were travelling to Dublin.

Loved our 3 days in Dublin

Location, bed, good value
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, and really liked it. Yes, it is located above a bar and yes it can therefore get noisy, but they provide the ear plugs for a reason: to use them! And I even received an email reminding us of the proximity of a popular bar about a week before we stayed at Kelly's, so they prepare their customers well. If you use the ear plugs, you will sleep well, because the beds are perfect: not too soft and not too hard. Our room and bathroom were small but not cramped, so perfect if you spend most of your time exploring Dublin. And because the hotel is well located, you can easily explore Dublin by bus or by foot. Breakfast is served in a restaurant below the hotel, and is simple but fine.

Great hotel in good location

Location, cosy rooms, helpful and friendly staff, good bar and restaurant
This was the perfect choice for our stay in Dublin. The area is a good location for both shopping and restaurants. We also were able to walk to many tourist spots from here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Joined to the hotel is the bar with no name which is a great place to relax over a beer or coffee. Then below the restaurant where breakfast is served is also a good choice for dinner.

Great hotel in an ideal location

decor, bar, bed, breakfast, location......all brilliant!
we nearly passed the hotel as the entrance is fairly hidden, even though it's on a main street. this gives the hotel a kind of secluded feel. the decor is imaginitive and quirky, the bar is very relaxing, definitely worth a visit. although the room was quite small, the bed was very comfortable and in fairness who wants to spend their time in the room when you have dublin on your doorstep? the breakfast was good quality, really tasty. the location is pretty much perfect with loads to see within walking distance. this hotel is not for the pompous but for people with adventure in their hearts. we will be staying again.
Restaurant Tip: Bewleys Cafe on Grafton Street is definitely worth a visit for lunch.
