Terrible rooms and poor service. Very disappointed

the location.
The room was in a poor condition. A staff informed that the rooms were due for refurbishment but the management is slow to respond. The elevators squeal and the rooms next to it can hear it throughout the night. Everything is about money rather than customer satisfaction. Not enough space if you have 2 pieces of luggage and a baby cot. No refrigerators in the rooms. Extremely cramped. Not suitable for families.

Good value for the money

Location, Cleanliness, Staff
Our stay was very enjoyable. We really just needed a place to sleep. Rooms quite small, but clean. Staff were excellent - professional & courteous. Note, wifi is not free. Beautiful lobby. Pleasant bar staff, reasonably priced drinks. Didn't eat, but had to rate anyway! Excellent location a few mins walk from High St. Kensington Tube. Will return!

A decent 4 star hotel

Clean, comfortable room, free wifi in room and the availability of convenient public transport.
Like the clean and comfortable room and free wifi in room. However breakfast is not included and chargeable and usage of fitness centre is also chargeable.

Something to think about....

Location, staff, clients
I have spent two nights at the KC hotel for a business visit. In general a positive call with some exceptions: a very uncomfortable springy mattress and a very narrow bathroom. The room (a standard double) had the bed alongside a wall so that is not easily accessible for a second person. The bathroom is claustrophobic! The loo was located in a 60 cm recess and the sink was very small too!

Weekend in London

Location, staff and confort
It was very pleasant, the hotel has a great location, the price is fair and the staff very helpful.

Take ear plugs!

Lounge area
The lounge area and bar was very comfortable. Location is great. Room was very small, but adequate, clean and comfortable. However, noise was a serious issue. Constant noise from pipes and banging of doors. I managed to drop off to sleep after 3am and awoke at 6am because of noise. Felt dreadful. Breakfast: bacon like leather, no gluten free bread for toast (staff didn't understand me either). Cold, stewed coffee. When this was replaced, hot stewed coffee. Will not stay here again. Lack of sleep is a serious problem. My friend in another room on another floor had no sleep at all.

In the heart of Kensington

Great Location, Very Clean and staff very helpful
We arrived for a girls weekend, nothing was going to spoil this and I have previously stayed at the Kensington Close Hotel hence I decided to book again. The location is in a great place, very central with lots going on around and only a 5 minute walk from the tube. We were able to leave our bags as we arrived early, so find this a good start. I had booked two superior rooms, which I believed would be slightly bigger than a standard room. However, disappointment set in when we went to the room and it was small with nothing to suggest it was superior! The bathroom was small and both my friend and I slipped getting out of the shower as there is nothing to get hold of and the rubber mat only covered a small area. The hair dryer, which we girls need to use had to be plugged in behind the desk (small space and very difficult to get to) and the cord was not very long so bad hair day and a few choice words. I did go and see the young lady behind the desk who was very helpful but could not get me and my friends into alternative rooms. I would stay here again, but would insist on a larger room.
