location, reception
Staff can be very inattentive. Room was cleaned but no coffee left, no facecloths and minimum done. Disappointing. When needed luggage returned waited over 10 minutes for someone to show up. The front door man that day was more than useless. Breakfast - no one around to provide coffee. I think all the staff are hiding!

Overnight stay

Location, cost and comfort
The stay was great, I have read mixed reviews so was unsure what to expect. For a couple we paid a very reasonable price for a night in Kensington and the room was smaller than normal hotel rooms, you get what you pay for. The room had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The hotel itself was great to look at, we didn't experience anything other than staying the night. If we wanted to stay for longer than three nights I would have to opt for a bigger room.

Excellent Location, Not Too Attentive Staff

Location, Toiletries and Convenience
1. Housekeeping was rude. Called them at 10.15pm, but they insisted that only 24 hour food is available, as they close at 10pm (Menu in room states 10.30pm). When food was delivered, they told us to give them exact, as they didn't have change. 2. Stayed in Executive Club with King Size but in reality was really two single beds 3. Air-cond switches off by itself in the middle of the night 4. Wi-fi shut off on our last night and didn't work anymore On the contrary, 1. Safety was good - our card was not working on the last night and they required lots of identification (our passports were locked in the safe) 2. Very convenient location (next to High Street Station) 3. Bell boy was attentive and friendly

Very nice and polite doormen, very clean and relaxed.
Booked a superior double room and got a free upgrade to an executive suite. Would have expected it to be bigger, just enough room to walk in and around the bed. Door leading into the bathroom was and looked cheap. Bathroom was clean and well finished. Breakfast was good altho £48 for 2 ppl for 2 days seemed abit expensive for a buffet. The doormen were very poilte and professional and wer the rest of the staff.

Miser Hotel

The pillow is comfortable, the cupboard is clean, the toilet is clean.
We stayed 10 nights in the hotel. The room is small (executive double). Sometime air condition have to inform house keeping to on the main system because even we on the switch in the room, the air con is not working. They do not supply room slippers for guest. The lighting switch, one switch control all the lighting. Once switch, all the light is off. We stay at level 5 and the water pressure is very low. Shower cap only supply once. They do not supply toothbrush. For Wifi, we have to get password from them everyday because it can be use for 24 hrs only. Very troublesome!

Hmmmm ...

On arrival I was given a room worthy of no more than a road side B&B used by contractors. When I told the desk that I needed to use the desk - which the TV was sitting on - I was upgraded to a slightly bigger room, which had been recently painted and had a desk. On the first night someone let themselves in to my room at 10.30pm when I was in the bathroom (fortunately). Housekeeping had already been in and their was nothing being delivered or returned so I have no idea who I shouted at. I was told my the 'emergency' line that she would first ask if any staff had need to go to the room - as a first point to working out what had happened - and then she would call me back. Nobody called my back. Each night I slept with a chair against the door. All the doors are old fire doors which means that they slam closed - this means that there are about 6 hours of peace and quiet each night and absolutely none in the day. I also knew when the neighbour above me was in the bathroom and what mood the neighbours next to me were in. On the last night, hoping for a decent stretch of sleep before travelling, the fire alarm went off at 2am and everyone made ready to evacuate although the alarm did go off and people assumed everything was ok although there was absolutely no way of knowing, for example, through three pips on the alarm to signal the end of a drill. It was great to have a well equipped gym, classes, sauna, steam and a swimming pool on site, although the pool was often full. There was absolutely no information in the room and I was not encouraged to dine, even to breakfast. Reception and conceige staff were excellent, as were the fitness team. I would not stay here again because it was not a restful experience.
