Away from it all

Isolation, food, sunset views and staff
This resort is away from it all. About an hour's drive from noisy, crowded Krabi and then a 20 minute fast boat ride. Finally,a bumpy 10 minute drive to the resort. It is right on the beachfront. It's the place to come to if you simply like to hear the small waves washing ashore below your balcony. There are mosquitoes so bring some tropical strength repellant. There is no A/C but the fans in the room were perfectly adequate. There are purpose built gaps in the roof and some mosquitoes can get in through some wall gaps. A mosquito net is provided so not a big problem. There are 2 small swimming pools if you don't want to be stung by some nasties in the sea. I had to remove some sharp broken bottles on the shoreline. The sunset photos are great as are the walks along the beach. There is plenty of shade under the trees. The staff are very helpfull and the food was very good in the open-air restaurant. There is a massage facility. The beds are comfortable. There are plenty of books available to read next to the restaurant. The accommodation is single bungalows with thatched roofs. Our room was big. There were two very comfotable cane chairs on the balcony. Very relaxing.

Very disappointing

Relaxing & quiet
We certainly wouldn't recommend staying here. The staff were rude and very unhelpful. The lady serving food appeared to go out of her way to make us feel unwelcome, despite there only being a few guests. The hotel is located on the north west of the island, which is very remote. There is nothing to see or do. Due to high tide the beach is inaccessible from 8am - 4pm. After living in Thailand for 4 years and visiting many of the islands this is the most disappointing.

nice resort but entrance road is dangerous

good scenery, service, clean food.
We stay in bamboo cottage, a little old. Very good scenery, but some trashed found on beach The road to resort is too dangerous for unskilled biker. The resort could gain better score.

Perfect when you want to do nothing

Good staff and food. Good valu for the money (we stayed off season for special price though).
We had good three days. Which was enough for us. There is not much to do and for our family with four kids there is a limit how long we can stay at s place where doing nothing is the main activity. But it's a great place and you can easily rent a motorcycle and get around the island if you want to. If you are up for it there is a mountain to climb as well. But most of all you use the small but nice swimming pool or swim in the sea. Good food and good breakfast for reasonable price.

A peaceful and relaxing place

Staff service is nice. Food is delicious! The beach is peaceful.
A wonderful experience. We feel relaxed and enjoy the food. And the staffs are really nice. If the water could be more clean, the travel would be perfect!

Excellent Resort

Clean, Spacious Rooms, Beautiful Views
Our stay at this resort was fantastic. The rooms were very big and clean. Staff were always cleaning around the resort which is nice to see. The food at the restaurant was way better than we thought it would be. The thai dishes were especially good. Beach is right in front and you can see the sunset from almost all rooms. Overall a great stay!

Beautiful view, with rat in room!

View, space in room, view
Ok. We were upgraded from a teak wood house to a villa, but our villa had a rat (or two). It kept us awake in the night and then bit my thumb! We were given a new room, without a problem, but this was our last night there (after 3 wakeful nights). No Wifi or TV as stated on the website and it was difficult to get the water temp right for our daughter (I'm happy with cold water). Only a standard fan for cooling. After our first night with our daughter in our bed, we asked for an extra bed, which was supplied without charge.
