Stay at Koh Ker
Price, Location
It was ok but the staff speak very minimal English, it was dimly lit and they only provide egg for breakfast no bread. The hot water also does not work and the toilet flush is not reliable.

Quite dirty and tired but still a bargain
price, staff, breakfast
Our room was dirty. So dirty it was hilarious : the wall next to my bed was covered in foot prints, one of our towels had a disgusting brown stain on it (but we could change it without a problem) and the bathroom was a mess. That being said, it was a bargain, the breakfast was nice, and the staff lovely. You can't have it all.

Perfectly fine hotel
Quiet. Good location. Price
Hotel is fine, not somewhere you would stay for a long time or if you were trying to impress someone, but absolutely fine. Big rooms. Decent beds and pillows. Great price. I've stayed in more expensive hotels and it's been a lot worse compared to this one. Budget hotel is exactly what it is.

Koh Ker
Location, Staff performance, Food
The hotel is probably one of the easiest to find in Siem Reap. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. Any address you write down in English the staff will translate into Khmer for the benefit of the Tuk-Tuk drivers. Only 20 minutes walk from Old and Night Market. 10 minutes walk from the main Wet Market where all the hustle and bustle of the Khmer house wife's do their daily shopping. Not only serve the restaurant a lovely breakfast, lunch and dinner, it opens at 5am.

Free breakfast, staff friendliness, value for money

Bucket list visit? Go elsewhere.
The restaurant food, the restaurant staff, the location.
The hotel was dusty and bathrooms not cleaned until after the 1st night. I stayed 2 nights instead of 3. I have no expectations that this place will be a 3 star hotel under present management. Better off spending a bit more for better quality. Lessons learned.

Beware- unsafe hotel
Good location
Good points: - breakfast at restaurant okay - good AC - good location Bad points: - bathroom in terrible condition, almost no hot water either - window didn't close properly and my room overlooked a ledge that could easily be climbed, giving a person access to the room - the linens were dirty (could clearly smell a man on the pillow) and the bottom sheet had holes like cigarette burns.
