Hidden paradise

Located right on a coral island. You can go snorkelling right outside your room. Meals excellent. Location amazing.
It's a real privilege to go to this resort. Only 16 rooms and they're pretty much booked solid. Most people go for the diving but there's plenty to do if that isn't your thing. Kayaking mountain climbing swimming snorkelling relaxing. So relaxing.

Staff were superb, food was very good and the house reef amazing
An idealic Island with fantastic staff. I do not drive but this did not matter as the resort arranged snorkelling trips and the house reef was unbelievably beautiful. I wanted for nothing and all the staff but especially ELelna were so happy and helpful. My husband and I had a wonderful time. Thank you to all at Komodo.

best snorkelling in world so far

snorkeling, coral, staff
From years of snorkelling in many places around the world I think I have now concluded Indonesia (have done Bunaken Island and Komodo National Park Diving Resort so far), the Maldives and the Australian Great Barrier Reef on a livaboard are the best bets, although I still need to try Fiji and maybe Bonaire fits here too . But so many other well recommended places have been comparative disappointments I think I need to focus on these for the next while. Of all the places I have snorkelled this was the best.

The bungalow, diving and airport shuttle
Very far from Flores. Secluded beach with great diving. Food was great considering imported. Local staff was excellent. Italian staff seemed ready to get off the island. Beach was very dirty at times. Nothing to do there but dive. Wish they had more than 1 choice red/white wines by the glass. Wish they had a spa area instead of my hotel room for massages.

Great little Gem

location, hot shower, great bed
Great stay just before Xmas, great food and service and facilities, especially given the remote location. Diving is amazing, batu balong and manta point... One minor point is we couldnt find the seahorses, just in front of the resort in the shallow part of the housereef: will need to go back to find them!

Fantastic resort

Lovely room. Fabulous food. Amazing snorkelling just off the beach.
Very smooth pick up from the airport and transported to the jetty. One and a half hours boat ride to the island and then a very warm welcome. The accommodation is luxurious and the food is excellent and plentiful. The beach is beautiful and the snorkelling just offshore is amazing. Highly recommended.

A great starting point for diving trips to Komodo

Quietness, distance to the national park
We definitely enjoyed ourselves during our stay. Attentive, friendly and funny Italian staff. Really nice local and Italian food and most important an amazing house reef! Personally I think it was a good choice to stay there since you will safe at least 2-3 hours a day on the boad rides to the dive sites in Komodo. I would recommend it for couples than for solo travelers - it is really a beautiful, quiet and romantic place to stay!

Wonderful hotel, food is great, diving superb

Island is beautiful, food was delicious, staff attentive, house reef beautfil
This resort was amazing. The island itself is beautiful, quiet, and not too many bugs. Dinner is 4 course Italian, and was delicious. Staff is totaly attentive. Dive equipment was good quality, dive masters were great. We were really really pleased with the service, bungalow, views, and the Italians running the resort were pleasant and helpful. I think the price is a bit pricey, but I think there is no other accomodation around the Komodo islands that are not 'budget' types, so if you want a luxury diving vacation, this is the resort to go to.
