A nice, quiet resort with good service

Service

When you get tired of the noisy, smelly, dirty streets of Ao Nang its good to get back to Blue Village and relax at the pool. This is a quiet, family run small resort. Nothing fancy, but still very comfortable rooms, everything squeaky clean, a nice little pool, very good service level with a large staff for the size. There is a free 30 min shuttle bus which takes you down to the Ao Nag shopping street, but it is really not more than a 10 minutes walk anyway

not so good value for money, there were some cockroaches in the jungle hut, there is no bed just mattress, the hotel has shuttle service to the Aonang beach it is take 5 minutes by car and 10-15 minutes by foot

Quaint hotel with a secluded feel near the main rd

friendly staff, clean room, nice play area for young children
6
We chose here because it seems secluded while being close to the main road and some cheap food stalls. We especially chose this hotel because of the free Wi-fi in the rooms, however, the signal is too weak to use in any of the fan rooms. I'm not sure about the wi-fi in the private villas/cabins, but it was disappointing since it had been a priority for me. The staff was aware many people have complaint about it, but the owner/management has neglected to do anything to fix the problem. Overall a decent hotel, but overpriced in my opinion.

Small hotel with lovely staff

Nice rooms and great staff

the rooms are nice and good value for money. the staff is very nice and helpful. the only problem could be the location but it is very easy to get a ride by taxi, besides the free shuttle offered by the hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Ask the hotel staff to book your excursions for you, it is the same price and they do a great job as they know what to chose (and what not to chose!). Don't forget the tip box for the staff...

Place is recommendable

Nice Staff

I would recommend this place. The staff is very nice, the place remote of the bustling tourist centre and the accommodation is decent. Breakfast is very simple but complimentary.

Don't stay in a Sea Breeze Room!

pleasant surroundings, nice pool
4
Do not get a Sea Breeze room. Plain and simple, unless you like having a really hot room with a loud fan, and a tiny bed. Also, if you enjoy showering in your bathroom with no shower curtain, and also if like seeing cockroaches and lizards occasionally in your room. Don't be lured in by the cheap price of the sea breeze. It's really not worth it. I am sure the other rooms are nice. The Hotel is pleasant, they have a nice pool, and they have a one way shuttle that will take you into town. But if you stay in a sea breeze you'll have a tiny room, tiny bed (not really fun for two people), a tiny bathroom with no real shower, and it will be hot.

Great location but room needs upgrade

helpful friendly staff
5
this hotel was wonderfully located just up the hill off the main drag. the pool is gorgeous and the breakfasts are generous. the rooms we had needed to be upgraded/cleaned, holes in curtains in the bedroom and what looked like mouse poop in the bathroom were a bit of a turn off. the warmth and friendliness of the staff totally make up for it though. they were some of the best we experienced in thailand.

Lovely hotel and service with smile

quite and good for r relaxsitions with good staff
7
The hotel a lit bit far from the main road around 10 mints walk, actually this is was not any problem for me. However, the hotel provides a free shuttle to the main road. The receptions’ staff are friendly and handily. The hotel is comfortable, quite and clean is good for relaxsitions. I staid their four nights in aroma room.

Decent enough

Off the commercial strip, so quiet...but easy to get everywhere by walking
6
- Internet only in reception area and sketchy at poolside
Restaurant Tip: You'll do much better with the street food in Ao Nang than with restaurants...much better food at much lower prices.

Secluded little 'hut condo' with smile

separate huts, service with a smile, good value for money
6
min points: a bit run-down, (big holes in the wooden deck, etc), very roughly finished (unfinished) shower/wc room with steep stairs, chain lock on the front door, 600m from the main street. plus points: free ride to the centre or the beach, simple continental or english breakfast without any frills, smiling service, always fresh towels and clean room. pretty environ in the compound. al-in-all, if you prefer to have undisturbed and romantic place and prepared to 'suffer' a bit of back-packer hut - ideal place to be. obviously krabi itself is the place to be :)
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Kayaking tour (full day) to the caves
