Lovely hotel with perfect location.

Location, staff and location.
We had a lovely stay in the junior suites. Perfect location to view some pagodas and the balloons rising up in the early morning. Or to laze around the pool. Junior suites are nice with a lovely outlook, however, some things don't work quite as they should. But then this is Myanmar so we adapt. Would definitely stay here again next time we're in Bagan. Staff are wonderful and accommodating, but all Burmese people appear to be nice and friendly.

Not worth the money
I never give bad review to any hotel, but I feel I need to say something after our stay there for the next customers who consider staying there. First of all, the facility needs a major over-haul. Our room wasn't clean, the bathroom is nasty, disgustion and smelly. Seems like it hasn't cleaned for months. The towers were old, dirty and not even white anymore, more like yellowish color. The staff never smiled and seemed careless about the customers but always looked busy with something else. We wanted to rent an e-bike, but they ran out. So I asked if they can call any agency around town to see there were any available, and they refused and told me to walk 25 minutes to New Bagan to rent one. I asked them again to call to make sure the agency has one available, and they told me they don't have the phone number. Really? I eventually had to walk 20 mins to the Travel Information Center to ask for help and they got me an e-bike within 5 minutes w/o any hassles. So...thanks to Kumudara. We stayed 9 days in Myanmar and this was our only bad experience.

Gorgeous views

View, cleanliness, bikes
Overall the hotel was great. The view of the pagodas in the morning is worth staying for. The balcony allowed us to sit out and watch the view. They have bikes you can rent for cheap right from the hotel and head out into the pagodas. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. I stayed there years ago and it was much better back then. The staff is friendly. I would stay here again.

Stay within Nature

Location, View, comfortableness
It's located in New Bargan with gorgeous views such as old pagodas. There is a swimming pool for relaxing during day times. When I was in a swimming pool, I could see some herd of cattles. I think this Hotel is valuable for money and I will stay again if I visit here somedays.

Not worth the money

Not much = able to eat on site (the weather was poor so we weren't keen to venture into the town); view at night of the 'lights'; room was big
Hotel is overpriced - pool was dirty, room was DESPERATELY in need of a make-OVER (VERY SHABBY); a bit 'too' far out of town if you want to eat locally. We were VERY disappointed - Lonely Planet had rated it with a STAR (ie highly recommended)- NO STAR from us!

I spent 2 nights there and I love it! They have great view in front of the hotel. My last day there I saw the hot air balloon when I stepped out of my room :D There is only thing that you need to be prepare .... don't count on the wifi

So close to the temples

Location, Location, Location
The suites are definitely the way to go! Did experience hot water issues [although it is baking hot there!] Internet was a bit slow. All in all a good location but take note of landmarks to get back home and DEFINATLY BRING A TORCH! nO STRRET LIGHTS!

Ok, but not worth the price.

Food, Location
Too expensive for what it is. Not worth the cost. We had to ask for hot water at the front desk whenever we wanted to take a warm shower in the evenings. Wifi in the rooms worked very poorly. The rooms are old and worn. Would have suited our needs just fine if it were half the price.
