Stay within Nature

Location, View, comfortableness
It's located in New Bargan with gorgeous views such as old pagodas. There is a swimming pool for relaxing during day times. When I was in a swimming pool, I could see some herd of cattles. I think this Hotel is valuable for money and I will stay again if I visit here somedays.

So close to the temples

Location, Location, Location
The suites are definitely the way to go! Did experience hot water issues [although it is baking hot there!] Internet was a bit slow. All in all a good location but take note of landmarks to get back home and DEFINATLY BRING A TORCH! nO STRRET LIGHTS!

Ok, but not worth the price.

Food, Location
Too expensive for what it is. Not worth the cost. We had to ask for hot water at the front desk whenever we wanted to take a warm shower in the evenings. Wifi in the rooms worked very poorly. The rooms are old and worn. Would have suited our needs just fine if it were half the price.

Our stay

The location was excellent every morning we saw 20 balloons come towards the hotel, great view of the temples from our hotel window, excellent breakfast.
Very comfortable, great views of balloons and temples from our balcony, excellent breakfast, the only negative is the hotel is a bit tired.

Good hotel on outskirts of New Bagan

views, quiet, pool
Older style resort hotel, with nice grounds and swimming pool. A popular place, with tour groups as well as FITs. Rooms are spacious, with nice Burmese touches. Breakfast buffet OK. Quite good value compared to other places.

A pleasant stay at this hotel

Customer Service, Environment, View
Overall a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly, the view was kinda great, being able to look to the Bagan pagodas, the highlight of Bagan.

A Hidden Jewel

My room was #712 a Jr. Suite with two twin beds. The room was at the end, with lots of privacy and the view of the temples. The breakfast was wonderful especially for vegans. The staff was great.
Fantastic! I didn't want to leave. I stayed four nights and got to ride a bicycle, rent a motorbike just outside the hotel, hired a taxi Lin Lin who is aspiring to be a tour guide, ate all my meals from the restaurant, got my laundry done there and had lots of time for lounging around the pool, watch the sunrise and sunset from my deck and most of all got to disconnect from electronics and relax. WiFi in Bagan is almost nonexistent so if you want to be connected, Bagan in general is not the place for you. I loved Kumudara and I will return.
