Perfect for relax in Ubud
This villa has beautiful garden and so good to relax. The big room with terrace is a perfect duo. Such a nice place to stay and worth the price.

Low quality
Garden, aircon, wifi
We stayed one night and that was enough. No food was provided. Bathroom was mouldy, very old and dingy. Aircon worked good and wifi was up to standard.

Budget - Guest House
Friendly staff
Well, I dont really expect good stuff for a budget hotel. Although the hot water problem should be fixed, other than that I'm fine.

Quiet and far
It isn't a hotel but guest house located on the hill 15 mins from Ubud Center. Ladies, I wouldn't recommended this to you. The walkway to Ubud Center is completely dark (no street light). Garden and decorations around the guest house is nice. Room is quite big for 2 but very poor rest room. Water was always disappeared while you're showering. Lots of mosquitoes and no breakfast included.

Comfortable and clean
Garden, room size, price
This place was a great value for the money. It was easy to check in and out. you can rent a scooter from them and they provide a laundry service. It was a bit hard to locate at first, but once we found it it was about a ten to fifteen minute walk from the market area. There were good restaurants on the main road too.the garden was amazing. It was so nice to have a sitting area in the garden. I would stay here again

Wonderful accommodation with nice Balinese style
Good location, big room, clean and comfortable
We stayed at Tirta Arum recently and we do really love this place! Firstly we doubt about the location, but after we arrived there, actually it is really close to Ubud centre, just 5 mins short walk and many shops and restaurants. Great value, the room is clean, cozy, fully air conditioned, we do love the garden view from balcony, nice fresh air, staffs are friendly, good internet access in room. TV with international channels, quite nice. The bathroom is clean and with hot water. Highly recommended for budget accommodation at Ubud. Surely will come back here on our next Ubud visit.

Quiet, basic rooms but rundown bathrooms
Quiet, close to town, friendly staff
We stayed at this guest house specifically for the proximity to Ubud Fitness (we like to stay fit while traveling). If not for that, we most likely would not have stayed here. The room we stayed in was large and had working AC and the bed comfortable enough, but the bathroom left a little to be desired. There was no shower curtain (a common omission in Ubud homestays for some reason) and we didn't have hot water for a shower one day - the toilet also wasn't able to flush another day. For the price, I'm sure that there are other places that are better worth the value. The staff, however, was incredibly warm and friendly.

quiet place up a hill; 10 min. walk to Ubud centre
the bed is truly 5-star but the rest of the room is 1-star except for the huge size
This is a quiet place up a hill which is a 10 minute walk to the centre of Ubud. The room was huge and had 1 king size bed (the biggest I've ever seen) and 2 queen beds, a huge writing desk, huge furniture, and ceilings 15 feet high with skylights and exposed wood beams. The place is very quiet at night. If you want strong Wi-Fi, stay in the room I did, overlooking the reception, up a flight of stone steps. You could have slept 8 people in this room easily, but I was alone. More like an apartment than a room. Bathroom left a lot to be desired though - no hot water, a trickle of water in the shower, very dirty bathroom. The toilet wouldn't flush unless you filled the waste bin with water and threw the water inside. The toilet was running and dripping all the time. I'm no plumber. It was good value at $30 a night including small breakfast of omelette, fresh fruit and coffee/tea, and a good place to stay if you want to use the Ubud Gym, which is 30 seconds away. But beware overbooking. I booked 1 night and wanted to book another few nights. Agoda said "5 rooms available" (and the guesthouse has only 7 rooms) but the young guy on reception told me it was full the next day! So I booked elsewhere. The next morning, he told me they did have some rooms. Seems like he didn't know if it was going to be full or not. As I said, the room I had was huge but very dilapidated, except the bed, which was like the best 5-star hotel, very clean sheets, very comfy, could easily sleep 4 without touching(!), and a 4-poster bed with lovely carved wood. Wi-Fi also excellent if you stay close to the reception area. Totally quiet at night! But the TV is 20 years old, small and has only Indonesian channels and the bathroom is truly horrible and I'm sure a woman would want to check out if she saw that bathroom...
