Convenient and clean
It is near the station by just less than 5 mins walk. It has hot spring bath and we all enjoyed after the day.

Clean and reasonably spacious
The facilities are brand new and clean. Reasonably good room space for a Japanese hotel.

Good Location
This looks like a new hotel in a good location. Just behind the Kyoto Station, about 8 mins walk. But unlike other hotels, they don't provide breakfast at all. The coffeeshop at the ground floor offers lunch & dinner only. However, you can always have your meals at Porta Dining at B1 of the Kyoto Station.

Loved it!
The location of the hotel by Kyoto train station meant to was always easy to head out for a day trip, or head out sight seeing. The room itself (western corner room) was lovely with the tatami mat floors. The layout and feel of the room was a lovely respite after a day of sight seeing. Can't wait to come back!

Good location with nice staff
5 mins walk to Kyoto station, very nice and clean room. Room is typically small in Japan although I booked a corner twin room. Like the hot spring facility..will certainly stay here again

Nice Surprise
We made this booking last minute and didn't set our hopes too high having never stayed at a traditional Japanese hotel before. The hotel is lovely - the lobby and common areas were bright and modern. The traditional Japanese double room as very comfortable - our sleeping futon mats were much more comfortable than the western bed that we left behind at our Tokyo hotel. Setting up our futon mats was easy after a couple youtube videos. We were too shy to use the traditional spa on premises. The hotel's proximity to the train station is fantastic especially for the quick two-day stop-over that we did.

Great!
Fantastic modern hotel within minutes of Kyoto station. Only stayed one night but was probably the best hotel of our trip. Just FYI you will not be allowed in the hot spring if you have visible tattoos, but this is the norm in Japan so no surprise.
