Affordable rates and great value for money

Friendly staff, clean rooms, affordable price, location
9.3
the hotel is about a 3-5 minute walk from the beach so be sure to bring the things you need when going to the shore to avoid going back and forth. there are a lot of restaurants and other establishments nearby so looking for a place to eat or hang out won't be much of a problem. be sure to take a look at their countryside and island tour packages because prices are very reasonable.

Clean but a bit small

Their is a room service everyday.
7.3
They should provide service pick-up from the port going to their hotel because its really hard to find a cab/taxi to send you to the resort.

Clean hotel and lovely cafe below.

Walking distance from beach, cafe below, big rooms, helpful staff

It was about a ten min walk to the beach so close enough but without being right on the beach front so able to get able from the busy beach area. Cafe below was handy, pain au chocolat and croissant fresh each morning for breakfast. They also made us some sandwiches to take on a day trip and they offered wine, cheese and olives etc for the evening. Our room was a good size for two people. The window did look onto a road so you did have to keep the curtain shut if you didn't want people to see in but as only there in the evening this was fine. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We arranged a couple of trips though them and both trips were good. They offered to clean the room each day if you want as well.

great location

5 minutes walk to alona beach, great food and friendly staff

simple room and bathroom, the air condition unit is noisy and defective.although it is located near the alona beach. the food and accommodation is reasonable. i really love the chocolate roll being served in the cafe (it's the best i have ever tasted), breakfast is also delicious. The staff are friendly, courteous and accommodating, they also speak fluent english.

Pristine, Good Location, Excellent Value

Extremely clean, modern, comfortable and good location

Couldn't recommend this place highly enough. The rooms are wonderful, and taking a hot shower was a bit of a novelty after travelling in the Philippines for a while. Beds were comfortable. I stayed in one of the cottages, so can't comment on the rooms. The gardens were well manicured, with a sitting place in the centre for relaxing away from your balcony. Its a short walk (5 minutes) to the beach, and past the best Spa in the Philippines (2 minutes walk). Staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful.
Hotel Feature Tip: Pay extra for the air-conditioning. I nearly melted with just the fan room.

Good price for the money

Good location on main road
8.3
This is on the main road, so good for transport dropping you off after sightseeing. It's about 5 min from the beach, although with young children, it took us a lot longer. Granted, we didn't use the beach much, as there are other things to do in Bohol. Staff were friendly. There are other comments of the family rooms not having good air-conditioning - it does take some time to get geared up, but bear with it for a few minutes, and close the bathroom door, and the temperature gets down to pleasant soon enough. For the price, you can't get any better in Alona Beach. The restaurant around the hotel are good too, depending on what you're looking for. Le Rendezvous cafe is great for breakfast - lovely croissants and pain au chocolat for about 100php

inexpensive hotel with friendly staff

rooms are basic and very comfortable with spending a fortune. within 5 minutes walk to beach and close to many bars and restaurants. friendly staff makes your stay most hospitable.

loved the friendly family orientated nature of the hotel.only problem which was sorted quite quickly was a period of no water due to power failure.rooms could be noisy when kids left to run up and down corridor.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: if beach not suitable for swimming try the bohol beach club with pool and lucheon package included.birdwatchers bar on beach excellent for cold beer.

A good place to crash after a relaxing day

In close proximity to the beach front, Has a coffee shop downstairs for a quick caffeine/snack fix

The hotel, though not situated at the beach front is a mere 4-min. walk to the beach and a few steps away from the good restaurants. The staff were very helpful and friendly, going out of their way to help us print our return airline ticket. We loved the small cafe that served really good chocolate croissant. The hotel is very near souvenir shops and near the transportation vehicles parking area so it is easy to get transportation if you want to tour around.
Travel tip: The electricity can go off at some point so it is best to be out during the day.

Perfect for Solo Travelers

Proximity to the Beach
8.7
The place was quite basic, you have all that you need to stay in Bohol. There are not much places like this anymore in Panglao so if you want something that's a bang for the buck, then do stay at L’Elephant Bleu. The breakfast croissants downstairs is a must try. Add in orange juice and its a perfect combo. I can't say anything bad about the people there too because they are so helpful with any questions that I have with traveling around. Plus they cleaned my room everyday for the 4 days that I stayed there.
Hotel Feature Tip: Make sure you book the cottages or rooms 1 if you want a quiet room or 3 if you want a view outside. It only takes a few minutes walk to the beach which is almost right across the street.
