Not a five star hotel
Had a layover due to a cancelled flight and arrived late. The receptionist seemed to be half asleep, couldn't find my reservation. Not free wifi even if it said so on the website. Room was ok, but tons of dust under and around bed and brown spots in the toilet. At breakfast they couldn't find my name and wanted me to pay even when I said it was included on my reservation. I had to go back to the room to find my phone with the reservation, and down to the reception and made them give me a voucher and up to the breakfast again. Such a pain. I've had better breakfast at most 3 star hotels. I wouldn't stay here again unless I had to because of a convention.

Nice design but practically not work out
Bath room design that cause water overthrow into the bed room easily. Anti slip floor mats act more efforts for the cleaners to clean underneath that why it never been done. Underneath the beds also never sweep and dust all over.

Visiting relative, shopping and eating
1. Disappointed without free WiFi. 2. Bad experience for being locked in room toilet due to door lock problem, and followed by toilet bowl overflow after flushing.

Getting a little tired, need a makeover soon
Have been staying at this hotel at least once a year since it first opened whenever I return to HK and have slowly seen the facilities getting more tired over the years. It might be due to the high volume of visitors that they get every day. This hotel is very popular with big tour groups from China. Pros - Good value (if I can get it for around SGD120 per night) - Very close to Tsuen Wan West MTR (which gets you into town in about 20 mins) - A number of shopping & eating places available in Tsuen Wan area - Bus terminal (with straight bus to the airport) is in the same building as the hotel (Nina Tower Bus Terminal) which makes it super easier for to and fro from the airport - Rooms are bigger and more spacious then typical shoe-box hotels rooms in HK - nice gym & infinity pool & indoor pool (but gym and pool closes by 8pm) Cons - if you arrive at the same time as the tour groups, check in is a nightmare as I have waited close to 1 hour or more just to check in (and they have tour groups arriving at various times of the day) - rooms are still big and comfy but has been better days. There are stains appearing in the room and the bathrooms and leaks that they do not fix (i got the same room for my stay in May 16 & Aug 15) - no wifi in room!! you have to pay for internet which is quite unimaginable. There is supposed to be free wifi in the lobby but for the past 6 times I have been there, I have never ONCE managed to log on to use the free wifi in the lobby I might still stay at L'hotel Nina for the next 2-3 visits depending on how badly the rooms deteriorate and the price but I do think it's time to spruce up the rooms!

Overall is good
I recommend this hotel. One thing they have to improve is the internet connection. They don't provide free internet services in room but just the lobby area but you rarely get connected.

Need for some makeover
Been staying at L'Hotel Nina for the times I went Hong Kong. Nice place with a great neighborhood. Unfortunately, it can't be said on some of the chinese guest who would hog the lift, smoke at non-smoking areas.
