Low low lotel

This hotel is close to the city, close to amenities and close to kings cross tube station. If you stay here, don't expect to sleep at all, the noise is horrendous!

Do not stay at the hotel. It is well located and the staff are reasonably pleasant, however, that is where the pleasantries stop. The room is filthy, the glassware unfit to use, Moulde in the bathroom and incredibly noisy. I did not sleep on either night of my stay from surrounding air Cond units, rowdy guests, and the car wash business next door. The main door lock is also faulty and I had to discourage drug users from trying to enter. I actually carriedy valuables with me as the chance of theft was high. A complete nightmare!

Good Location

I would rate it below average to average. When we arrived at 2pm, the specified check-in time, we were told to wait for an hour because the room was not yet available. We were able to put our bags in the room and the staff was accommodating. It has a great location surrounded by lots of cafes and situated in a nice, cozy neighbourhood. It had the basics, like towels, but there seems to be a lack of toilet papers and the carpet looks like it needs to be replaced.

A NO-Budget hotel

the only nice thing i can say it the girl at reception was really nice, the place is a tip!

We arrived to a room that was falling apart! the shower was broken the bed linen had holes in it and the walls had turned yellow with grime. the bathroom was disgusting and mouldy, the lights and powerpoints were just holes in the wall with a socket coming out and half the lights didn't work or were painted over. we went in and immediately booked another hotel and left! the owner is rude and uncooperative and i find it disgraceful that they charge people to stay here! go to a hostel instead i would suggest

The location near the Kings Cross station is the best thing about this hotel. Otherwise, there isn't much to write about the place. They don't have breakfast. They didn't clean our room. It was average 105 degrees Farenheit since we were there during Australia's summer, and all 5 days, our air conditioning didn't work. We slept in an oven. The wifi didn't work. The room doesn't have a safe/lock box. There is staff at the front desk, but only during the day, not 24 hours. The mattress is lumpy. This hotel has definitely seen better days. Perhaps there is a new owner now. There are a number of other boutique budget hotels near this area, select another one if you can.

The L’otel Hotel is the most terrible place one can stay at. The worst of all is the owner or manager of the place. He appears to not to be trustworthy at all. I had booked a room from November 5th-9th 2015. I arrive at L’otel Hotel in the evening of November 7th at about 6 pm. We don’t have a room for you. Since you didn’t check in two days ago, we thought you weren’t gonna come. (Please note: I had called L’otel Hotel to tell them I was going to arrive on November 7th 2015.) He said he had to move somebody around and get something sorted. When I pointed out, I had talked to on the phone about my check in. In the room I had been given internet didn’t work. I asked if he was going to fix the internet, but since there was no result after 1 1/2 h of fiddling around I gave up. Checking out on November 9th I asked, what was going to happen to the two nights (Please note: He had put up somebody different in this room even though I had booked and paid for it.) He said you can come back for the weekend. I was traveling and didn’t make it back to Sydney. So I sent an email, saying I won’t be staying at L’otel Hotel. He said, we can refund one night, but the terms and conditions require you to pay one night. Fine I said, please refund payment of one night. Until today, December 22nd more than 6 weeks after I stayed at L’otel Hotel, he has not yet refunded the money. He doesn’t reply to emails and he doesn’t take care of the refund.

Horrendous stay at L'otel. Crack den central and dodgy area. We had the police knocking on our door the first night. This should be described as a backpacker hostel NOT a hotel. The room was filthy; the carpet was heavily stained, the bed frame was dirty with what looked like to be a blood stain and the curtains were also stained with yellow marks. We stayed on the top floor with no lift. The bedroom had a connecting door to the room next door - making you feel very unsafe. The walls are so thin that you can hear the occupants next door clearly. The room key didn't work and we had to wait 20 minutes outside before staff let us in.
