Please add at least complimentary tissue rolls and water inside the rooms. Also, hot shower wasn't working.

Great beach get-away!
You can see fishes the moment you get in the water! It was amazing! Some of the food dishes can be improved and the rooms can be refurbished.

A great place on the beach
This is our second trip to LaLuz. I had some issues with room not ready and I barely had time to enjoy the lunch. The cabanas were great. The beach was beautiful and the sleeping room was perfect. The food was served buffet style and provided a variety of choices every day. The egg station at breakfast was chaotic. The toaster did not work. The food was not consistently good. The meal package was expensive. The staff was attentive and I appreciated getting a glass of water up to my room when I did not feel good enough to come down for dinner. LaLuz continues to be a great choice if you want a great beach vacation.

Clean, orderly resort with friendly staff
Really enjoyed the outdoor cabanas, good job that they improved it with more shade. I slept for an hour in the cabana! There is also this anchored floating plastic dock on the waters, which was so fun. The Premier Lofts are clean but have aged a bit. The new 2 storey dining areas are spacious and airy. And they served delicious albeit pricey food. There was an egg station for breakfast (freshly fried eggs), then a Mongolian stir fry buffet at night. Yum yum! The staff were very helpful and nice. Upon checkout they even returned a small Php60 which we left on the bedside table as a tip. We gave it back. Please keep it up! -- PS Please feed the beach dogs somehow and don't shoo them away! If they're fed properly then they wouldn't have to go beg the people for food. Plus they're great guest accommodators!

Good Accommodations and Facilities, Not so Good Food
The room we got was all right. The cabanas are nice, and there were umbrellas on the beach that can be used. But the food charge is too much given the quality of the food offerings.

Daily Meal charges TOO MUCH!!!!
The ~1500p per person per day for the meal charges is totally not value for money from the food provided.

Lovely place
I liked their healthy dinner- salad, fish & chicken. They have a lot of activities from water sports to team building activities and even board and card games. Their life guards keep a close watch on the swimmers and their cabanas are so relaxing. We'll surely visit again.

.rooms werent cleaned, loud music throughout day,
Nice beach and shady cabanas but management is bad. Not sure why it's called a Spa as there are no spa facilities (a massage lady on site, idoesn't make it a spa) The first night, a party of guest was ongoing in the cabana's in front of our room with loud music and drunken laughter and shouting. I called management after midnight and still took another hour to get quiet. Rooms weren't cleaned (stayed three nights and had to ask for service) ceiling fan wasn't working, beds and pillows are smelly. Music throughout the days through loudspeakers on top of each cabana. We came for a relaxed time at the beach, not for boom boxes. No service for drinks etc at the cabana's which is a loss. Apart from beer and spirits, no wine available but a corkage fee would apply if you bring your own. The restaurant is a canteen with long tables and uncomfortable benches. The bar area is dark and has broken bamboo furniture (with view on the urinal of the men's room) so there is nowhere in the resort to sit on a decent chair. The buffet breakfast very basic, lunch and diner a bit better but no healthy options (non fat, vegetables, salads, fruits). Meal charge not value for terms of quality. Again no service for drinks, apart from the free flow 'icetea' (blue drinks..!.really? ) Entertainment staff hard to find. We booked a banka but when we turned up next morning it was not arranged. Construction ongoing but in an advanced stage. In all, a break with too many frustrations and disappointments to really enjoy. Feel money waisted and still need a break.

Lousy Service
Better go to Coco Grove, Virgin Resott and Palms Resort.
