Designed to reflect the ambiance of a colonial seaside mansion, La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc is set surrounded by tropical gardens. Located off the coast of Vietnam, the resort is a gem on Phu Quoc Island, fast becoming a tourist hot spot. A must-do is snorkeling and diving, and the concierge can arrange for both. Or if you are feeling lazy, spend a lazy day on the beach getting a massage. Rent a jeep or a motorcycle to best explore the island, admire the beaches, or go down the dirt roads to explore the National Park and visit the villages that make the famous fish sauce. La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc provides a little something for everyone - a relaxing or adventurous holiday, it's completely up to you.

a nice quiet place.

friendly, cleanliness, landscaping
The la Veranda resort is a nice enough place, its looks like a colonial plantation converted into a resort, and is quite tranquil and clean, which is something compared to the rest of Phu Quoc, they go out of their way to rake their section of the beach to make it presentable. Its a shame the rest of the proprietors on phu quocs beaches don't do the same. The gardens are fragrant and well maintained, rooms and service is excellent, a good place to hide away for a few nights.

wonderful beach location , hotel with charm and character, friendly helpful staff
A big thank you to all the staff especially Ian the Guest Relations Manager for making our stay so memorable and special. We were celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary and it was made perfect for us by all the care and attention to detail shown by Ian and his staff.

A lovely tropical resort!

Friendly staff, beautiful clean beach and an awesome room
We had a lovely 3 nights stay at this resort. First, we were greeted at the airport with a free transfer and check-in was easy and done at the resort's bar where we were served a welcome refreshment and presented with a lovely bouquet and a bottle of champagne for our honeymoon - such a lovely gesture! Ian, the relations manager greeted us and briefly gave us an introduction to the resort, etc. Our room was gorgeous & comfortable with a nice sea view and bathroom was huge with a cozy bathtub. We enjoyed an al-fresco dinner twice in the resort by the beach deck and absolutely enjoyed the food, settings, sea breeze and the service by its staff. Taxi can be booked easily at the concierge to get around the island and the fare is cheap, they run by meter automatically without the hassle of negotiating for a price. Wifi reception was strong even outdoor at the beach. Guests can enjoy free use of towels, sun chairs and kayak boats at the beach! The people are generally friendly and smiley though they don't speak much english except for the hotel staff. We highly recommend this resort to all holidaymakers!

Stunning hotel

Location, architecture, wonderful staff
We had a wonderful nine days at La Veranda. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the location on the beach was perfect, and the staff were excellent and very friendly. We particularly loved the morning and afternoon mango sorbet delivered with cold towels on the beach every day. We were a bit disappointed at the size of the room. We had a garden bungalow and it was smaller yet more expensive than any of our other hotel rooms in Vietnam. I also felt that when paying nearly £200 per night that breakfast should be included. We really enjoyed the spa and thoroughly recommend the oriental massage. Our therapists were Linh and Phan. n Pure heaven.
