I liked Laghawa hotel because it was close to the beach, and the hotel had canoes that we could rent. The beach at Sanur has a barrier reef so it's very safe for the kids to swim without waves or undertow. The only drawback for our period of stay was that there had been some flooding due to some lunar influence, and trash had washed up onto the beach subsequently, but it's only an annual occurrence so typically, it doesn't create trouble. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were adequate for us.

Great Location
A great location on the high street and with access to the beach. the gardens are beautiful and the pool a delight. The facilities need some maintenance but overall a good experience. Nice and quiet.

Excellent location but that's all.
Right in the heart of Sanur with lots of restaurants and shopping just outside the entrance to the hotel. I may have been unlucky with the room I was given but the smell of mould was so strong in the room which was tiny and I didnt appreciate the company of cockroaches in the bathroom.

Lack of maintenance
Rooms small musty. There is hardly general maintenance on the rooms. Small repairs were not done while frontdesk said twice it would be done. Most of staff nice but unskilled/ not trained. No service at swimming pool, even no towels.

3rd time we have stayed here and we have found it good value for $. Located in central sanur making it a short walk from the shops, restaurants etc. also a short stroll to the beach past the massage salon which offer a great massage. The pool is a good size and nice n clean the facility's are a little dated but in fair condition for the 30 odd years it has been there.

Rooms are okay but very small and dated. Some maintenance issues, central but access to beach difficult. Good access to restaurants in street behind. It's okay for price but a lot of other options nearby.
