Basic but ok

Good location and price and although basic it was clean.
Ok overall no luxury but no frills price so perfectly acceptable.

Pretty good place.

Comfy bed, convenient location, water replenished everyday.
Good, no complaints really. Air conditioning not great, but there was a ceiling fan and that was sufficient.

Affordable life saver!

Location, facilities, natural light
My stay here coincided with a horrible stomach bug. This hotel was a lifesaver! The room and bathroom were clean, there was a Western-style toilet, and the location was perfect. I didn't experience much else of the hotel, but it was great for resting and the Indian restaurant across the street was cheap and tasty.

It worked.
Very unhelpful staff. Unclean room. Price was right. Helpful travel agent and nice restaurants just down the street.

Cheap, dirty and unhealthy

Front staff speak very little English and seem not interested. My check in was not smooth and professional. My room was dirty and was never cleaned during three days staying there. There was a water leak that they did not fix in the hall and only put a bucket under it. This hotel is old and the air quality was very bad and unhealthy. I got sick staying at this hotel and know of another traveler that got sick here also. There is no elevator and if you request a lower floor you will not get one as this happened to me. The internet only worked in the lobby area and not in the rooms. I would not stay here or recommend this hotel.

Decent Choice Absent Alternatives

Location Room Size
Pakse doesn't have much for great options in the 'flashpacker' budget range. The Lankham does an acceptable job fitting the bill. Large rooms and showers with decent beds make a comfortable stay. The location is nice as you're likely only in town to plan your trip to the Bolaven and everything you need to do so is right here. The big negatives are few, but the ambivalent at best staff is a big turnoff. Also, the Wi-Fi isn't great, hindered by the fact you can't always use the best signal (that signal isn't for you, I was told of the strongest signal near our 'delux' room, you have to pay x amount for that... I did, I replied. Oh, well it's broken. Argh.) Anyhow, there are worse and better options in Pakse, but this place works. Also, good morning noodles at the adjacent restaurant.

It's nice but not awesome, the room we booked was to expensive compared to other hotels. We booked with aircon online with agoda! It is way cheaper in the hotel itselfs!

Nice place to Pitt stop on the way to 4000 islands

Large room, comfy bed, aircon
We stayed three nights it was comfortable. However our shower head was broken you had to hold it while showering. It's right where you want to be.
