Perfect chillout location
Beach location, gardens, spacious bungalow ( garden villa)
We loved the location on the quiet beautiful beach.Great for swimming ,except at low tide, but not a problem as just 100 metres up the beach perfect. Set in beautiful gardens, full of lovely shrubs and trees. Only minutes walk from a good choice of nice restaurants. Bring a small torch to walk at night. Very safe feel to resort. Only small negatives. Umbrellas at sunbeds need to be upgraded/replaced and better shampoo/soap could be provided at little cost. Overall, we would definitely go back.

Nice place
Very nice place to stay in beachfront bungalow, but number 1 and 2 are very sunny from 2-6 pm. Good breakfast, but not so much value.

A well run hotel.Very heplful staff.
Clean, well run and nice helpful staff.
A good stay, but the hotel is right at the end of the beach and not the best part as quite a lot of rocks. However we walked down the beach and got deck chairs so not much of a problem. We had booked a beach front bungalow but althouth facing the beach it has a canal right in front of it and you have to cross a bridge to get to the beach. Not what we were expecting, also small and basic not deluxe. We therefore moved to a garden villa and forfeited the view for a much bigger better equipped room. Staff very helpful.Breakfast was made to order and very good. Also ate there at night and food was good.

Perfect hotel for us!!
Location, location, location
We had such an amazing time in Ko Lanta! We first stayed at a beach hotel and because it was everything we wanted we wanted to extend but they were fully booked. Luckly we found a deluxe with garden view at Il mare. It is on the beach(after you cross a small bridge over a river), the rooms were big, clean and quite new. Breakfast was ok, not many choices but delicious.staff was amazing and really care for your comfort! But the best thing is the beach, long, wide , soft sand and he waves keep you entertained . The hotel has a volley net and ball if you like playing. In the evening the atmoshere was romantic, with all the bars having chairs on the beach, candles and the sound of the waves.. No noisy boats, no vendors just perfect beach holiday. Ps take a look at the night life activity on the sand when you come back from dinner, you will find many types of crab and snails. Perfect!

Beach resort with friendly staff
Near the beach, friendly staff, quietness
Positive: - Free pickup from Saladan pier if you call them - Overall friendly, welcoming and helpful staff - Car rental in the hotel is possible - Next to the beach - Quiet in the nighttime - Sound of waves when going to bed - View of sunset in the sea from the balcony Negative: - Overall, the hotel is overpriced - Aircondition wasn't steady, so the room would either be too cool or too hot - Interior was quite basic and outdated (bed, blanket, TV) - Shower's head was rusty and needs to be replaced - There is a small stream between the actual beach and the hotel which you have to cross using one of two a small bridges from the hotel - Pool is too small considering the amount of people in the hotel (high season) - You can only really go swimming at the beach near the hotel during high tide, during low tide there's too many rocks around. Swimming during low tide required a walk of 500 m to a spot without rocks - Breakfast can only be ordered, there is no buffet. If you are very hungry the food you can order is most likely not enough. - WIFI was a bit slow at times

too expensive for what they offer
swimming pool, thai massage
They offer beach view altought it is not, you a kind of river in between. Thebeach is not good, you can find easily much better hotels with better environment for even less price. Staff not very kind when you show a problem to solve. Cleaning laidy forgot to clean the room when indeed asked.

Rough around the edges but good budget option
Close to nice beach, bacon, sunset views
This place is a little rough around the edges, but a good budget option. Take the beach front bungalows as you get a great view of the sunset. It's on the beach, the rope bridge was very entertaining, but you need to walk up it a little to get the the nicest part. The dining area overlooks a rusted weir surrounded by concrete which a bit of an eye sore but if you look past it you can see the sea. The breakfast was nice, was great to have fresh cooked bacon, vegetarian options available. The room was nice, but the wardrobe had a number of white shirts in packets at the bottom, bit random???? Staff we're very helpful, cannot say that enough, but mr agoda, I noticed that the turn up rates were much cheaper. We did book extremely last minute tho. Rented a scooter from them at a very good price which we were able to use for day to visit nice beaches to the south and the red snapper restaurant which I also recommend. All in all good budget stay with a lot of positives, but be aware of the weir and beach position or you might be disappointed.
