Good location,kind staff

Location, bungalows are under trees and staff
We stayed 3 nights in standard bungalow. The room had fridge and hot shower. Location was perfect, just 50 m to the best beach of Lanta.Staff was generally kind and helpful. We were only concerned about the brownish tap water

not worth the money

close to the beach
The old, dilapidated hovel not worth your money. Dirty walls, bed uncomfortable, a lot of mosquitoes, unhygienic bathroom, dolepiona to the hut and really on outsouide - must be taken quickly showering every now and then drive off to mosquitoes you had not eaten. The whole resort is heavily neglected and not renovated for 10 years. Close to the beach but I do not recommend!!!!

Recent negative reviews we read seem harsh

Great bathroom/bedroom size bright bungalow down to plenty windows and good position on Long Beach
This resort was recommended to us by good friends who are annual travellers to Thailand so we were surprised by the recent negative reviews by travellers on Agoda. Not sure what these people expected but for the money we paid for aircon bungalow this resort was great value, great size room and bathroom, great location and the owner was very helpful, providing new good quality motorbikes for good price, matching and providing all tour and travel tickets etc ok they only serve breakfast time for food, but you have a fridge to put your drinks in and are near to great restaurants...go to Mays Kitchen!!!! For lunch and dinner with no pressure to eat at your resort!

Highly Unrecommended

5 minute walk to the beach
We were really disappointed at our stay in this hotel. The lady on reception was the most unhelpful hotel staff we met during our 3 weeks in Thailand. Even asking for the wifi password was too much and she wasn't afraid to show how she felt about your request on her face! Our taxi transfer to the port was late and we asked her to call but she told us to wait. When we asked again 10 minutes later she was really irritated that we had disturbed her conversation with her friend. The room was desperately in need of maintenance with both the front door and bathroom door needing to be slammed every time you used them. We certainly didn't feel like our belongings were safe and the room was not very clean. We wondered why so many people complained in their reviews about mosquitoes as it is Thailand and not really the hotel's fault. However, having stayed there, we now agree. That were gaps by nearly all the doors and windows so it's fair to say minimal effort is made to try and stop them from getting in. Our tip would be to stay elsewhere!

Location is all

Location, location, location
The rooms are dated and one of the staff a bit unfriendly. Don't recommend the fan rooms - upgrade to AC for a better room closer to the road. Location and beach are really great. The beachfront restaurants like Thai Cat are fantastic.
