Travelled Back in Time

1. Heritage Tour, 2. Breakfast Champorado, 3. Massage
I went here to treat my mom and aunties for a quick break from work. As I was travelling with an older set of folks, walking/hiking up and down stairs comfortably is priority. I would advise people to bring comfortable footware as the grounds are lined with cobblestones like that of the earlier times. Bring a hat/umbrella - the afternoon sun can be very brutal. Food: There are 3 restaurants in Las Casas. Not all of them are open everyday. Check with the reception the schedule of the restaurants. Prices are a bit on the high side and typical Filipino foods - very fatty or with the fat part of meat. But I love the Champorado with dilis during breakfast. Room: we stayed in Casa San Miguel. Rooms like that of the olden times are big and airy yet functional. This comfortably housed our group of 5. Bathroom/toilet is clean and has no leaks. The no smoking policy of the resort is very understandable as everything is flamable due to the antique wood used for construction. I hope they fix minor issues on the door of our room as it needs to be lessened so that it doenst scratch the Vigan tiles and secure windows so that it doesnt shake whenever the wind howls. Service: The staff are nice and courteous from the heritage tour guide, jeepney/shuttle driver, to reception, and the bellman. But I think during peak hours, the additional demand of the customers is not met by adding the supply of service to help with items i.e. there was only 1 staff manning the 3 food carts on a weekend (Sunday). This caused a very long line and wait considering the prices are already at a premium.

The staff are really nice and accommodating , The room and facilities are first class and lastly the history of each house was great and educational specially for the young generation like us.
Our stay is wonderful . It feels like were on the other side of the world :) We will comeback for sure.

our second time in Las Casas

old structures/houses, historical, inclusive of tour and breakfast
So far so good, there are some misunderstanding with the staff, though it was already settled when I talked to the manager/assistant manager.

Relax & do nothing

The bed, the bath & the view
Our stay was generally okay except if you ask us if we're coming back to the place the answer is a quick "No".
