Good location but poor facilities

Right in the middle of the night market
We were the only guests for the hotel during that period. It's a bit creepy as there were no other customers around and there is only one housekeeper around. Rooms are a bit dusty. Air cond were not working in one of the rooms. The housekeeper seems clueless to replace another room for us. In the other room, the washing basin were missing but we managed to get another room. plaster ceiling has lots of water marks and mold. Do expect hot shower to breakdown often. Hotel has a standard practice of closing the main gates after 10pm. To get in after that is a bit hassle.

Creepy old guesthouse

Right smack in the town center with attractions within walking distance
The hotel facilities are rather old and broken. There are not much customers in the guesthouse. No wifi and air condition is faulty. Hot showers will breakdown at anytime.

A really good located hotel. Expensive for what yo

It was very good located. The fact os that luang prabang Is very small in de city center, si that really goes to nothing. The room was not clean, dirty just down the bed and in all the corners. Hoy water in the barítono was very good.

Good budget hotel very central

Easy walk to all restaurants
Hotel was ok, a bit old fashioned, room a bit drab & dark with flaky ceiling paint and plaster cracked on the ceiling but it was ok and the staff were very friendly & helpfull

Great guesthouse in a beutiful town

Near the markets, large outside dining (drinking) area
A large (though always empty) restaurant with a guesthouse upstairs. The rooms were decent size and clean. There was always some staff hanging around out front, at the bar or in the restaurant who were very helpful with good English. Simple rooms but a bit of stylish furniture and art thrown in. There is a nice garden area out front for drinking and relaxing. Luang Prabang is easily walkable on foot so don't worry about not staying on the peninsula. Even better, hire a bike to explore the temples. We never ate there as there are SOOO many great cafe's, resturants and food markets nearby.

Friendly staff. Good location.

Location is good. With a nice entrance to sit and have a beer.
Rooms were cleaned dailly. They had a problem with the toilet being blocked (from another room) which came up in mine. Also the cable TV failed for a week. Still had not fixed it when i left. Get it sorted and its a decent place for the price.

Good value guesthouse on main market street

very quiet despite being on the main street. Adequate size clean rooms, good central location in the middle of the night market
the hotel was easy to find and had a pleasnt garden restaurant area in front. the rooms were basic but of an adequate size and clean with comfortable beds. our stay was in the low season and the hotel was practically empty of both guests and staff. a safe was available in the manager's office but you might have to wait for his return to get your things out. there are numerous restaurants and coffee shops close by and a very short walk to the riverside.

tolle lage, schlechte zimmer
