And the picture shows that the room attached with bath room, but actually we need to pay extra RM25 to get the room attached with bath room. I totally feel cheated.

Good location, and that's it

Location and I actually can't think of 2 other good things about this hostel
This location sucked. I booked a room which had breakfast included or so the site told me. When I asked upon check-in how late breakfast would be served they just laughed at me and told me they don't serve breakfast. The room is literally 4 walls, a ceiling, a floor, a door and a bed, nothing else. WiFi worked fine in the evening, but next morning I couldn't connect to it. This is probably the cheapest hostel you can find, but for slightly more money you should be able to get a lot more comfort.

For solo traveler / backpackers

Staff hospitality, Bicycle rental, Convenience
I reachd there post lunch time. The reception guy was sleeping.I was a bit hesitant to wake him up,But I had to wake him up to check in, then looking at his hospitality, I felt that he would have been sad if I had not woken him up.Got the key (the lock with the key infact, they dont lock the room until someone checks in!) It is a 3 story building, no lift.I went to my room in 3rd floor, I had booked a single room with shared bathroom. It had a single bed, with a pillow. No bedsheet to put on you when you sleep. If you dont want that, perfectly fine.I cant sleep without a sheet on my body, how hot ever the night be.I used the bath towel I had got from the guest house.Remember, you will get that only if you ask for it.The curtains of the window were a bit smelly, which gave a light smell inside the room, but the reception guy can give you inscence sticks, though it cant help you to remove the smell. The room has a fan, which is very good. Bathroom? well, it just serves your purpose. You have to wash, they dont have papers. I am an Indian, it is perfectly fine for me:-).When I was taking bath using the bucket and the mug, I felt that, they could have improved this situation. A slightly better bath would make it better. When I asked if they have hot water, they said that I can use the kettle in the kitchen in the second floor to heat the water, put in the bucket, mix cold water and take bath, anyway Melaka is not a cold place to take bath in hot water.I asked where can I have breakfast. He said Chinatown is a better place.I remember Agoda had mentioned that my booking was with breakfast, anyway did not matter to me. There was a Tamil Prata shop in front of the guest house. Le Village does not serve breakfast! If you want, you can bring your stuff and cook yourself in the kitchen in the second floor.Reception Guy can give tourist info, but ask him for that.Overall, the stay was ok, after all,Their price is really really cheap!they serve Value for money!:-)
