The resort is less than an hour from the international and domestic airports. The property has been designed to evoke the poetry, history, and romance of 15th century Portugal. It creates an ambiance, which is visually stunning, with medieval oil paintings, artifacts, tile work, heraldry, and stained glass set amidst a lush green environment and calm water. The resort offers 65 beautiful rooms and suites. All ground floor rooms provide access to a compact private garden. The six heritage rooms and suites, housed in a century-old Portuguese mansion, have been restored to their original glory and appointed with all modern amenities. Several on-site dining options are available for guests. Other facilities include a spa, fitness center, and kids club. For a moderately priced stay in a luxurious hotel, Lemon Tree Amarante Beach Resort makes for an excellent choice in Goa.

Nice hotel close to the beach with a great pool

the staff is super nice, the beach is very close and the pool are is very good
The check in and support from the staff is great. The hotel is on the Main Street and super close to the beach. The breakfast is great, with many option and a very helpful staff. The pool are is very nice, with a pool bar. Only problem is that our room was next to an internal fountain that they stop during the night, but starts around 8:15 am which woke me up. I would have prefer a quitter environment. The bed was very comfy.

An amazing stay in Candolim!

Cleanliness, decor and food.
As a couple, it is safe to say my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the lemon tree. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with friendly and professional staff. The cleanliness and decor of the hotel is 5/5. The rooms are cleaned daily to an exceptional standard. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety to chose from and was extremely satisfying. The lunch menu was also very broad and anything we ordered never failed to disappoint. There was also a lot of delicious western dishes to chose from. One thing which stood out was the friendliness of waiters, always with a smile on their face. There was a very calm and friendly vibe throughout the entire hotel. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a little more luxury while staying in Candolim and I look forward to returning.

Convenient for the Beach

Location - close to beach; swimming pool - nice and refreshing; staff - very attentive
Recently had a very short break in Goa. Had never been there before so chose this resort based on reviews. The hotel is nicely situated, close to the beach and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable - just one problem, the shower flooded the bathroom floor - somehow the seal beteween the floor and the shower enclosure was not very effective. Apart from that the room was perfect, nice size and comfortable. Only ate in the resort once -breakfast so not much to comment on thefood except that the breakfast was ok.

Pleasant return

The staff,breakfast andpoolside
We were initially disappointed by the room we were allocated as returning customers, this was quickly resolved by Puranas one of the waiting staff who remembered us, the staff are pleasant and attentive, the rooms are looking tired, but the pool and gardens make up for that

Overrated wannabe unnecessarily expensive 4 star

Location, staff, clean
The Lemon Tree Amarante was overpriced at $USD 250 per night for what it is. It is a clean, basic 2 star hotel although the hotel pool was murky. We had no hot water and after 2 days of requesting it, the matter was finally resolved. Food and drinks were also ridiculously expensive with lots of add-on taxes and service charges. The staff was courteous overall. Decent hotel, but definately not worth the price.
