Location was a bit random

Food, pool, ac
Good hotel. Location was random. It's based in a very small village vagator. Not really much going on there. Apart from a few small shops. Anjuna is the next nearest place which is bit more livelier.

Not a very memorable experience for me .

The staff was very helpful and friendly . The view from the room was good and the extra services provided were good.
My stay could have been better. The staff was good but the room were in a very bad condition. The AC was making noise. We couldn't even sleep because of the noise. The shower was broken and the beds were very uncomfortable to sleep in. We were given double beds and they kept sliding away from eachother all night. I paid ₹4000 for a room for one night and honestly with that kind of money one can easily find better rooms and hotels in Goa. The most basic facilities were provided that even a guesthouse in goa would provide .

Not the luxury you'd expect for the price

Closer to the beach than my previous acommodation; nicer pricier garden villas; good pool for kids
Leonay “deluxe” rooms are not particularly so for the price. They have the feature of a nice pool (full of screaming kids), a fridge in the room but on the whole, not much better than budget accommodation. The restaurant blasted loud Bollywood music late into the night. There’s no buffet breakfast, poor service and definitely no give aways. The bedding was unhygienic with old mattresses and mildewed pillows. We asked for an extra sheet to cover the offending mattress but after several requests, none materialised. The setting is pleasant and close enough to Vagator Beach. The area is run down, dusty, dirty and half of the places are derelict. It is yet another view of Goa as a “has been” if it ever was, and I had no expectations. Kerala is my pick of Indian states to holiday in so far. I would return to Orritel Village Square for the same price in the neighbouring beach (Anjuna) but not here.

Not a good place for first timer and with family

(i) Rooms are very spacious and provides adequate privacy (ii) all rooms are garden or pool facing. We were in a garden facing room (iii) overall ambience gives a good feel
I stayed with my wife and two daughters (2 and 8 years) for 4 nights. It took us a while to reach at the resort. Thanks to GPS system, without that no one can find out this resort. The resort and its maintenance was good. Garden was well maintained. Overall room was spacious but the furnishings in room are very old and doesnt give a mid- range resort feeling. Their restaurant was closed for maintenance work and only room service was available during our stay. However, we found few guests having thier meals under shed near pool in a temporary arrangement. Food was not of great quality so had couple of meals outside also. There is one Sita restaurant, nearly 3 kms away. Food is ok but overall ambience is not very great. There are not many shops and restaurants nearby so you may feel isolated. Beach is at 10 minutes walk but finally you have to use stairs and a route that is not clean. Beach is not crowded as compared to Baga/Candolium/Calangute so you can relax here but doesnt give you feeling that you are in Goa. You have to travel to other beaches ( approx 10 kms) to see the real goa beaches and its culture. You may have to rent a scooter. We had our car so travel was not a problem for us. In my view, location is a disadvantage if you are first timer to Goa or with family unless you want to stay away from crowd and enjoy at less crowded beach. Hot water in room comes only via solar. If it rains previous day, you may not get hot water in room. We had once such morning. There were frequent power cuts and they run generator only during night. We found a couple fighing with reception staff for this issue as they didnt run generator in morning at 7. Staff was curteous but waiters take charge of reception during nights and before 8 am. So, if you need any additional support, they seem to be clueless. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place to first timer and people with family unless you want to relax at an isolated resort and a nearby less crowded beach.
