Need to be renovated

Location, landscape
The room and the bathroom need to be renovated. The drainage and the hot water system is not so good.

Nice Hotel with friendly staff

good service and friendly boss and workers
The only issue is that Agoda did not asked me for my arrival flight details from Kuala Lumpur and as such, the hotel did not pick me up from the airport due to no details of the flight arrival info.

Highly recommend

Nice comfy Friendly
I stayed only one night here. I would have stayed here longer if I didn't book anther hotel in advance. Staffs are friendly. Welcoming me at the main entrance with smile and giving me a welcome drink made me very comfortable as soon as I got there. The room was clean and big. Food at the restaurant was great(soooo delicious). It was quiet and nice and has a swimming pool. Also the distance from temples is okay. I stayed another hotel which seems close to temples and pub street but didn't feel much difference between two hotels. I highly recommend this hotel!

Extremely hospitable staff!

friendly staff, value for money, location
I stayed at Led Bambous for 3 nights and I had a great time! The location of the hotel is not on a main road and the condition of the road leading to the hotel wasn't the best either; I was worried whether Les Bambous was a good choice. Upon arriving, I was immediately impressed by the cute swimming pool, outdoor dining area, and the friendly staff who greeted me, took my bag, and served me tea. They also took the time to explain the different tour options available for Angkor. The hotel was only few months old when I was there so a lot of tuk tuk drivers don't know where it is. When you head out, be sure to grab a business card so you can show the tuktuk driver the address and direction. The room was comfortable and food was delicious. Here was a storm when j was there and the power went out in the entire city. The hotel does not have a generator but the outage only lasted about 20 minutes. The staff was the best part of my stay at Less Bambous. They really put in 110% in making sure you're comfortable and they treat you like family. The 2 owners were very friendly and hospitable as well. I highly recommend Less Bambous to anyone visiting Siem Reap!

Relaxing atmosphere

We really liked the garden and the pool area as well as the nice, big bed rooms.
Being a family of five, we enjoyed staying at Bambous. The children became friends with the owner's children and spent a lot of time in the pool together. We had our "personal" tuk-tuk-driver which again the children liked a lot. However, driving to the temples of Angkor as well as to the city of Siem Reap, is quite a distance.

Souvenir of Siem Reap - Mozzies' bites!

French speaking friendly /helpful hosts
I book my clients into Les Bambous because they're run by a French couple. A previous direct booking elsewhere was messed up due to a misunderstanding over the dates probably because of the Chinese New Year holidays. Although I was impressed by staff's helpfulness over the 3 nights' stay, I must say that the condition of the hotel is not on par with the 'boutique' ranking. The furnishings were that of a budget hotel. I travel extensively to be able to grade hotels. One thing that bothers all of us most, even with the other guests - the mosquitoes. I spent time swapping them. One count in my room was more than 20 swapped, but I still left Siem Reap with mozzie's love bites all over my legs. Just pray that it won't degenerate into dengue or something worse. The place does need some serious fogging even though pesticide is a health hazard. Which to choose of the 2 evils?

Good value for money

Pool, Staff were friendly and can speak good English, Garden
Our stay was okay. We definitely would have been able to book a better hotel at the same price. But nevertheless, the owners were friendly, the staff too. Breakfast was good, although there are only 2 sets of breakfast to choose from. Our door was broken though, it was very hard to lock and unlock. Air-conditioning did not work properly too. There are also too many mosquitos, although I think it might be hard to avoid this due to the surrounding gardens.

Nice pool and friendly owners

pool, staff, friendly
nice people but perhaps a little expensive for what it was. Quite far from pub st area, where it all happens in Siem Reap. Fine place if you want to relax, not ideal if you want to be out and about.
