Decent but room to improve, aircon works this time
Finally a room where the air-conditioning works. good location, the food is terrible now. used to be good, the worst breakfast steak in the world. nice layout and feels like you are not in sin city when you look out of the window

Smelly sofa
I can smell the urine in the sofa/couch and I feel itchy after using the toilet bowl.

Good stay
We stayed for two days, and it was nice. The only problem i noticed was the swimming pool and Front desk staffs. I don't think the pool is properly maintained. The water needs to be changed. Also when we were checking out, the hotel front desk asked us to be seated while they check the room. We waited for almost 1 hour, and finally I got up and asked them if my bill's ready, and the fd assisting me said " Sorry Ma'am, I don't know if your room has been checked". I was just like l, "please follow up. We waited for an hour already". The fd just gave me the bill without checking with whoever is checking my room. If that was your original plan, then you should've not let us wait.

Smoking and aircondition...
People from other room smokes at the hallway. They should do it outside the hotel. That is why it smells awful once you step out of your room. Aircondition facility at the lobby does not function well.

Very disappointed
Travelling with two young daughters and looking for a couple of nights stay close to the airport I selected The Lewis Grand. Mainly as It’s away from the red light bars and clubs and with my girls enjoying to swim it had a nice looking pool. Check in was no problem, although they requested I sign a form to acknowledge a second room key? Room was large with both a king size and double bed, good for a family of 4 and at a very reasonable price. Room, The TV screen was completely scratched, so badly it was nigh impossible to see the picture. Why the room was sold like this I have no idea. That said I called engineering and they replaced the TV. The large wood surround of the TV was held with bits of double sided tape. Instead of replacing the tape they just pushed it back in place. Yes, it fell off in a few hours, back they came again. Taps in the bathroom were not secure. Unable to get ‘hot’ water even after running for 5 minutes. Warm enough to shower, but not to shave. Towel rack was lose on the wall and even started to fall off. Girls wanted to take a bath, no plug, housekeeping came with an old rubber plug on a piece of string. Beds were very comfortable and bedding was fine. Split A/c was quiet but took a long time to pull the heat down caused by needing to remove the room key when going out. Food We only had the buffet breakfast, but that was enough! The Tocino was like shoe leather, the fish was cold and the egg station chef had to be shown how to cook a normal omelette you’d be served anywhere else. For us a learning curve with no problems as I know Angeles well and there are some excellent restaurants and café’s that serve great food. Staff Front desk are very polite but wooden, there is not the usual Filipino smile or appearance of caring, quite surprising. Drivers, room attendants, bellboys and forecourt were all very good. Pool Day 1 great. Kids had a nice time. Pool is not huge, but nicely laid out. Not enough sunbeds for the size of hotel, but t
