A good place to stay
I checked in early and got a room that smelled like someone urinated on the a/c. I requested another room and it was much better. The location is great. Bus stop and train station are close. Take a walk and you find an extensive shopping area. The staff were very nice.

Ok for budget traveler
Price. Location. Easy access to freeway.
It is ok. Carpark is not enough. I parked on the street two straight nights. Breakfast is free but it is really below standard. Room noise is bad, from next doors, outside, etc. I don't feel very safe in that area but not feeling threatened neither.

good location near the subway station and JFK
good location near the subway with many fast food shops nearby
the location is good and not far from the airport and it is only 5 minutes walk from subway. However, it is not in downtown so it would take some time to get to downtown by subway or taxi. it is a good hotel for those who arrive JFK at night or have to go to JFK in the early morning.

You get what you pay for
The best 3 things are :They let us switch rooms from smoking to non-smoking without issue or extra charge, Free Parking, and free breakfast.
It was alright, not the best but close to the train station which was pretty convenient for what we planned to do. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy and breakfast choices were limited but like I said, you get what you pay for. It's a good place to stay if you don't plan on staying in too much and you're just going to sleep here. I didn't like that the non-smoking room smelled. But it was bearable. Also, the curtains were dirty and the lamp shades were torn. They did have a fridge in the room and access to a microwave in the kitchen area, which was convenient as well. We didn't use the microwave.

Better than nothing
close to the airport, close to a subway station, that's
The worst part of the stay was the fact that the hotel apparently rents some units as low-income housing, so there are some unsavory guests around the lobby. The front desk clerks could have been a bit more friendly. Otherwise, the location is close to the airport and subway, but the area is pretty crappy.

Look I am staying there again. My family was there for my father's funeral and the staff made Lexington Inn feel like home .
