Very poor, shabby room, not good value

Location - that was all!
The room was shabby and tatty, carpet stained, hole in headboard and soap dispensers were empty. There was no reception, just coded access,a French family had difficulty getting in and the emergencyy number was non responsive, we had to sort the proble out for them! Very poor service we would definitely not be staying there again. It was more like a hostel and for a night far too expensive.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile

price, location, cleanliness, ease of check in.....
We were pleasantly surprised by how nice this Hotel is. Check in was so simple. Room size large, bathroom tiny, but adequate with excellent shower. Linens very nice. The price is good and the location cannot be faulted. I will return and recommend. Oh yes, and free internet connection.

Great disappointment

the best lighting in the room I have encountered in a hotel/guesthouse. It was lovely to be able to read in bed and to put on make-up in good lighting.
I was hugely disappointed to find that breakfast was not available. Although I knew it wasn't included in the room rate I assumed it would be available. I found it disappointing that there was no staff on site; I tried phoning just after 8:00am about checking out but could only get an answerphone. The room was shabby, but clean. The heating didn't come on until 7:30am. I ended up showering and dressing in a cold bathroom and bedroom. I won't stay there again!
