Comfortable spacious rooms

spacious, comfortable and homely
6.3
The guest house is at quite a peculiar place en route to the Brecon Beacons National Park, on the side of the road. Not too well placed. From the outside, it does look a bit dingy. But when we were shown the rooms, I was very surprised. It was very nice, very spacious, and comfortable. It also has a homely feel to it since it is managed by a few middle-aged Welsh ladies, and the decors are nice and quaint. We were also served really nice traditional Welsh breakfast by the same ladies who manage the hotel. Very nice. The only big problem is that there is no reception for your phone or internet. And that's a very big deterrent for me unless of course you want to get away from people and connections, and just want to enjoy the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Nice little bed and breakfast in a great location

Clean rooms, decent breakfast, friendly staff, great location for exploring the area
8.3
This b & b is in a really good location for exploring the Brecon Beacons. It's quiet and countrified, but not so out of the way that you can't get into town quickly. As for the hotel itself, the rooms are clean and tidy and the breakfast is pretty decent. Staff are really friendly and always talk with a smile. My only reservation would be that occasionally with the bathroom showers, it would take quite a while for the water to get hot. All in all, recommended!
