Very disappointed . Booked a double and was given a twin. So we had try push the beds together somehow and inevitable fell through the gap a number of times. When we moved the second twin bed it was disgustingly unclean. I won't even say what we found. the room also had some sort of communal toilet next to it which was used constantly and woke us Up. Someone was being sick all night . Nice to listen to as the walls are paper thin. The noise of the waterworks / pipes/ whatever it was was insane. Then breakfast started kicking off at 6 for the next 4 hours and clearly the kitchen is next to the room also so the country test shouting and rattling of crockery was the final nail in the coffin. The only nice things I can say is that the check in lady was very helpful . I think anyway. I am still convinced we were given a twin instead of a double bechase we were a gay couple. The wifi worked which was free and the bathroom clearly had been renovated which Is a bonus . For less than 100 pounds a night you don't get much in London . It could have been better and there is so much other choice in the area. I was annoyed and exhausted the next day and for that reason I don't rate this hotel well at all. Sorry

Great value and location
Great location and a great value for London. Older well-maintained building with character. Quiet. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Good hotel - as advertised.
The hotel is well located in a safe neighborhood with restaurants and pubs nearby. The hotel was clean with good sized rooms for London, and the only negatives were some interior noise/sound because it is an older building. Overall a good place to stay.

Old and tired
Gentle service, good location, normal food
My single room (no 14) was really old and tired and very small. If you are taller then 6 feet (180 cm) like me, then bed is too short and narrow for you. View from windows is melancholic. From TV you can find only local channels and not any music channel. It was mission impossible to close door between the bedroom and bathroom. If you want to open window, you can not fix it in chosen position. Breakfast is included in room price, but it is only continental: slices of ham and cheese, fruits, yoghurts, different flakes, juices, coffee, tea, one croissant and roasted bread. If you prefer english breakfast, you have to pay £6 and they will cook it for you in 10-15 minutes. No more negative. Location is good, a little walk to Earl's Court tube station or to High Street Kensington. Hotel staff is very polite and friendly. So quite nice place for 1-2 nights, not more.

Dirty old and pokey
Lovely receptionist, could not be helpful enough.
Expensive. Stayed in a hostel afterwards and it was far better, and it was clean.
