Pretty alright, but old toilet system
Central location, clean rooms
The hotel is very near the National Taiwan University hospital subway station, so walking there is quite easy. The hotel is also (quite literally) just around the corner from a couple of major museums. Ximending is a 10 minute walk away. The hotel has no view. Don't attempt to open the window, because there isn't any to open! The beds are comfy enough, but the toilet facilities leave quite a bit to be desired. The bathroom and toilet are in separate cubicles, but the whole thing is glass (with translucent frosted stickers pasted onto it), so unless you're lovers, only one person can use it at any point in time. The other person will have to look away during bath time. Also, the cubicle doors don't reach to the ceiling, so there's a gap where air (and smells) might escape into the whole room. And because the toilet system is old, you're not supposed to throw the toilet paper into the toilet, you have to throw your soiled tissues into an open waste basket. Not very hygienic. Counter staff are excellent, they helped us arrange for a great driver for our day trip to Yehliu and Jiufen. You have to pay for extra key cards.

Good Location, Very convenient to Taipei Main Station
The sound insulation is very poor, I have been waken up by loud taking sound outside my room. However, the overall experience is Good.

Convenient, quiet
close to MRT, the room quiet big
i took the late flight to TPE and by the time I checked in, it was around 1am. I took a cab from TPE station to hotel, it costed around 100 (include midnight surcharges). If you take mrt, it's only 1 stop away from the main station. Room / Bed was pretty big, bathroom / toilet was small though. There are 7-11 / family mart around the corner which made my late trip easy.

Nice, cozy hotel that is centrally located
location, staff service, surroundings
It was a decent hotel, very conveniently located in between Taipei Main Station and Ximending. Staff were friendly and prompt in service. Didn't try the breakfast so no comments here. Room was small but cozy. Toilet was split into 2 cubicles, one for showering and the other with the toilet bowl. Wash basin was outside the toilet. Cubicles were a little small but clean.

5min walk to MRT and comfortable room
comfortable room, neart MRT and value for money
the room was comfortable but the heater was not strong enough as it was winter. room was clean. no breakfast was included in the room stay but there is a small café just opposite the hotel and a local breakfast place a few shops next to the café. there is also a bakery a few shops next to the hotel. good value for money for the comfortable room and easy access to the NTU hospital station along the red mrt line.
