Geeting too much

Location, thats it
This was the last of three weeks at this hotel. One morning I arrived for breafast and placed my order. after waiting for half an hour the waiter came to me and asked if I would like to order. I told him that I had ordered half an hour ago to which he replied yes but he had thrown my order in the trash. What? I then re-ordered. Some people woul had arrived after me were already leaving after having finished their breakfast. Fifteen minutes later the waiter returned saying that there was no more baked beans (one of the items that I had ordered) and offered me bacon instead. I explained that I do not have bacon and that he should rather cancel the order. I then just waited for my colleague who had arrived long after me to finish his breakfast. A few minutes later the waiter arrived with two fried eggs (I had originally ordered poached eggs) and bacon. Crazy!!! I felt insulted to think that after more than two weeks in this hotel and after explaining to the waiter that I do not eat bacon and also cancelling the order, he comes with all the wrong stuff more than 45 minutes after I had settled down for breakfast. I decided to leave the room without my colleague to prevent a scene. Then there was the internet which for the whole period of my stay was utterly useless. They advertise free WiFi is available but really they shouldn't as it was never available. I needed this to work from my room but I could never get any connection. Even going to the lobby didn't help as often the place was noisy and packed with drinkers - its a pub afetr all. Next time I will NOT stay at Lord Nelson.

Ok for my needs.

Location, thats it.
This was the second week of three. I was moved to a different room and the WiFi was even worse - non-existent. I complained about it and was told thats what we have. They say WiFi is avaialable and free but its actually useless. Very frustrating as I had to work from the hotel room and was unable to do so. Even going down to the lobby didn't help. Besides, it is often quite noisy in the lobby because the hotel is actually a pub. Not good.

Heritage Hotel with friendly staff

Friendly staff, Good breakfast, Large room
Good stay, at an interesting heritage hotel. As it is a heritage building, the Lord Nelson does suffer some maintenance issues, which aren't seen in the newer hotels. However, the Welsh hospitality makes up for that. Plus the breakfast is just great.

Overall it was ok.

Location, that's it
This was the first of three weeks. Hotel is old and a bit delapidated. WiFi is really bad and should really not be mentioned as being available. Service during the first week was ok.
