Convenient for transit
My third stay here. Never had any problems. Check in was quick, room was clean, bathroom a bit tired. Meal was ok. It does get noisy at times.

Did the job
Long layover between flights on return to London. Expensive but did the job. Outward journey we stayed in a transit hotel at less cost. However, the time getting out of immigration and coming back into the airport wasn't great. Unless you are staying overnight or more, then the day rooms are more convenient but be prepared to pay a premium for what you get. Poor value for money.

In transit stopovef
Found it difficult to sleep due to noise from airport announcements and noise from hotel corridor and surrounding rooms.

Not worth the dollars
Very, very noisy - you can here sound from the room next door, the hall way and the airport gates right outside your window. Rooms are more expensive than Singapore's transit hotel and a lot less value. I don't ask for much but an iron and ironing board, hot water and soap at the sink (both are available in the shower) and most of all just a quiet room. None was available here - if you are traveling on business look elsewhere.

Although I found the location and the idea of the day room good, i have to say that i was slightly disappointed with the meal option. The soup was not good and the main meal of rice with chicken was borderline inedible. they both tasted like they came out of a packet. The tv reception in the room was terrible and we were not able to watch any tv. with a 6 hour stop over the idea of a shower and to lay and watch some tv was very appealing, this however did not happen unfortunately. The staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Overall we would use this service again but thought we would mention these minor issues.

Does the job....
If you only have a short layover this hotel will do the job - if you have more than 6 hours you are MUCH better off heading out of the airport to the Novotel or elsewhere - if you just need somewhere to crash for a couple of hours with no ambience & you aren't too worried about whether it's spotlessly clean the Louis Tavern will do ....

Good Spot for a short Cat Nap
I thought it rated better than 6.3. The only issue I had was noisy guests next door. I gave them a 2. It does need some homework to know where to go, but that's SVB airport.

Much needed and there when you need it
We were on a 10 hr overnight layover in Bangkok and so the shower and bed was much needed. Please be aware of check out times. I was unaware that bookings were in 4 or 6 hour blocks. This was also unclear on Agoda when I booked this. We were not told we had a 6am check out and so there was a bit of confusion. Our first time here and now we know what to expect. Even after paying for room there is a $10 USD or 200 baht deposit they want you to leave for room deposit. Room was decent. Solid 3 star and a little pricey when you think about the hourly cost but when you are on 30 hr journey and you need a shower and a bed it's so worh it.
