It was easy to reach within 3hrs from Makati and the 3hr travel was definitely worth it. We enjoyed the food and especially the buffet breakfast. The dive shop is well set up and very organised. A very enjoyable weekend.

Third stay in12 months Friendly staff, relaxing grounds 8 Location is great, in a quiet part of town, 5 minute walk to the center of Sabang Beach. Rooms are clean. Too smallto spend any time in the room. But luckily El Galleon has a beautiful, large restaurant area for drinks and to access the Internet. El Galleon also has a beautiful and relaxing bar facing the sea. Food in Philippnes is in general sub par when compared to the rest of Asia. Sabang is one of the worst places in Philippines as far as food is concerned. El Galleon's restaurant is about average for Sabang. The best restaurant is called Papa Fred's. The food is not great but at least you don't get sick from the cheap oil that are used , over and over again,in places like the restaurant named Big Apple. That being said, this was my third one week stay in El Galleon in the last 13 months. The combination of diving and El Galleon compensated for the bad food in Puerto Galera. Fantastic Hotel Lovly rooms friendly staff and great food 9,7 Stayed in a sea view room, quite a few steps to reach the room but a lovely big room great view over small Laguna beach, hot shower and soft towels. Just a couple of minutes walk from the centre of the action but far enough away to ensure a peaceful nights sleep. Excellent restaurant, very friendly helpful staff all of this set in a tropical garden setting next to the beach. What more could you ask for? (first class dive school & shop) yes has this on site as well. Kelionių patarimai: Should you desire evan more luxury take a look at their annex accommodation 'Waimea Luxury Houses' 5 minutes walk inland from ElGaleon Resort.

Well managed, good service, great restaurant/food and excellent cocktail bar. 9 this hotel has friendly service and an excellent restaurant with daily specials to provide variety during a longer stay. it is in a great position to people watch if you are not involved in diving activities. the pool is set back from the restaurant and beach front. it is accessible from the rooms and private enough to sunbathe and take a dip. it is an easy walk along to sabang and back to laguna. the rooms are well maintained and we got one this time with a new bathroom. cocktails are a must at the point bar. the bar staff are attentive and efficient and it is a wonderful spot to watch the sun set each evening.

Rooms not luxurious or big in size but layout of hotel next to the sea was good. PG nightlife area is a short walk away from the resort.

Lovely hotel in a nice location Location between beaches and the restaurant was excellent 7,3 El Galleon was a nice resort, the on-site restaurant was one of the best that we ate at and the on-site dive shop were very professional and helpful. Great Hotel with good service Everything you want as a diver on your doorstep 8 great staff, always willing to help you with anything. diving facilities outstanding. never had to carry anything, just suit uo & take your camera to the boat. all your gear set-up for you, all you need to do is confirm your nitrox mix is correct & you're ready to dive. Nightlife Tip: Good selection of bars & clubs

No other outfit has access to a jetty meaning they have to put their gear on & walk through the surf to board their boats. All we carry is our camera's. Staff are superb, food excellent & great bar to chill-out in afterwards. 5 min walk to Sabang & the night-life. Diving is excellent although better for Macro when I was there as vis was not to good. Strong currents in places. Nightlife Tip: Big-Apple is quite popular for people watching.

Nice hotel, good location swiming pool, location 8,7 The hotel is nicely located on quiet Small La Laguna, which is a welcome change to Sabang beach, although only 5 minutes walk away. The swimming pool is very nice and refreshing. The room (standard, by the pool) is simple yet very comfortable. Make sure to bring moskitoes repellant though, as they're all over the place, including the bedroom! Antoine, the French chef is worth chatting with, as he is quite a caracter!

Very clean, including swimming pool and common areas. Wi-fi only available in bar/restaurant area. Dive shop very professional, and it is the only one with own jetty in Sapang. Food by a Corsican chef was good, but breakfast only so-so.
