Still the best hotel for the money. Reliable hot water, good A/C, reliable wi-fi, and bar/restaurant downstairs. Best vaue for the amount of money. centrally located and easy to get a tuk-tuk.

Great staff, nice hotel, but 20 min walk to town

Pros: the staff here are great, without asking they phoned up a bus company for us to check why our pick up was late, and gave us pointers on the area. Breakfast was good, but not a buffet, if thats what you were after. Rooms comfortable, but not massive. Cons: a little way from town, prob looking at a bit of a walk to get into the more tourist area. Pleasant stay, but perhaps better value available?

Lovely Boutique-like Hotel

About the hotel: Surprisingly it was nicely renovated to look like a boutique hotel. But hotel rate is too pricey.
About the room: Nice room with rain shower, and a spacious balcony if you book the ones with it.
About the breakfast: Not a buffet, need to order with their standard menu. $6usd for extra pax..not worth. Prefer to eat outside for hotter fresher breakfast.
Location: Near Wat Phnom, an attraction you must see for great photo taking.

Convenient location and very helpful staff
Good quality breakfast, clean rooms of a good size, very helpful staff, good location within walking distance of bars/restaurant and short tuk tuk drive to riverside/markets.

Having stayed there on a previous trip to Cambodia we decided to go for the same again. On our last trip I left my Ipod in the room on the way to stay on an island for the rest of the week. I phoned the hotel and the staff were nice enough to search the room for it and once found keep it aside for me to pick up on the return journet to Vietnam.
Our second stay (this trip) was even better as the dining area/bar has been turned into a funky space with stage for live music/DJs which are advertised in Asia Life and other Cambodian press.
Good cocktails in the evening and satisfying breakfast with a range of western/Asian options. The only complaint is that you have to fill in your breakfast order form the previous evening.
Hotel Feature Tip:
It is advisable to book early as rooms with windows are the first to go and, as much as the rooms are clean and nicely decorated with modern fixtures, a window is always a plus!

Cheap hotel with friendly staff

The hotel was clean but very tired looking in the bedroom and bathroom. Chose a room with a window but the view was out over a petrol station! There were tea and coffee making facilities. I expected a rainforest shower as advertised in the hotel pictures but was disappointed to find a shower head that didn't reach and sprayed water everywhere but in the tub. Deluxe it was not! The bed was comfy but we could hear the constant beat from a nearby nightclub. Despite breakfast items having to be pre-ordered the Spanish omelette was a winner. The hotel is a five minute walk from the park and in the opposite direction, the waterfront. A tuk tuk is definitely needed to get around from the hotel. Staff helped us negotiate a driver for the day $25 between five people.
