The only downside is consider ourself unlucky as we were given to stay on the 8th floor and directly below the Food resturant. In the morning, we can clearly heard all the noise on top of us which is very disturbing.

Friendly and helpful staff, great location in regard to shopping and dining, clean, well-serviced room.

A very pleasant stay, with easy access to staff if required. Front desk staff were friendly. Young door men were very helpful and most concerned about warning us to be careful when venturing out in the streets.

Good buffet breakfast, friendly staff, good place ro relax.

I use this hotel as a central place to regroup and get myself "back together" after traveling around.
I can get a good meal, a good sleep, and friendly service even if I arrive late at night or very early in the morning.
So I make this a place to go first to "reset" myself before and after traveling to other places.

Okay hotel, most staff don't speak English
Across the street from public park, walking distance from bars and backpacker area and tons of tour agencies, friendly staff

The staff were very gracious, but most spoke very little English, which made communicating basic needs (like, I'm an idiot and I can't find the switch for the main room lights) a bit difficult.
Our room was spacious but a little dingy, and had a small odor.
If this is your cup of tea, the hotel is next to a street filled with with bars, hostels, and restaurants. There are also loads of tour agencies that will take you out for very low prices (like the Mekong Rive for $10).
Ultimately, I'd recommend just staying in the hostels around the block, or putting in a bit more money/research and staying in a nice place, depending on your needs.
