Perfect.
Nice room, friendly staff, perfect location.

My fiance and me stayed for three nights at the Sunflower. The room is very nice and clean, there`s a balcony in front with view to the beach, the place is practically on the beach. The staff is nice, friendly and very helpful. The place is walking distance to Santa Fe where you can find local restaurants with nice food, and the local market. If you want to explore the island wich has a lot of beautiful places, then you can hire a bikecycle or a motorbike to get around. We had a very nice time during our stay at this place and we will surley go back to Sunflower next time we visit Bantayan...

Perfectly relaxing getaway.
Large, clean basic rooms with view of the beach. Restos are walking distance and pedicabs are a great way to go around. Quiet surroundings for peaceful sleep.

A hidden Jewel
Nice rooms, friendly staff, close to a great beach.

This is a great place to stay. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff are all friendly and socialable. its right on a beach. its close to Santa Fe so you can walk or take a trike. You can eat brakfast and lunch at the hotel or go into the village with several restaurants.

Calm and relaxing
Staff, beach front location and..what the hell........staff again....they were great!

Basically, if you want to go somewhere and relax, lay on the beach with no-one around....then come here. The hotel is on the beach and the staff make you feel like you are part of the family. The owner showed me around and took me took me to his house, where i met all his family. One of the staff took me to a local barangay disco too.
Bantayan island has the friendliest people in the world!

It was very nice located. The island is very relaxing and if you want to be a bit for you own. Thats the perfect choice. The Hotel had nice rooms and very kind personal. Will return in the near future.

An enjoyable stay
A basic room with a terrace front and back

We stayed at the Sunday Flower for 6 nights over New Year. Bantayan isn't the easiest island to get to, but it's well worth making the effort.
We booked a basic room with 2 beds without A/C and hot water. We found that a fan was perfectly sufficient and despite the fact that the pressure in the shower wasn't very strong, I quite enjoyed washing as the locals do by filling a bucket with cold water and then pouring it over myself using the 'tabo' provided. The warm weather means that you don't really miss a hot shower.
We particularly liked the fact that our room had a small terrace front and back. At the back we paid extra for a fridge and to be able to use the gas cooking facilities, so we were able to prepare all of our meals ourselves. At the front the terrace offers you the chance to sit and look out onto the palm trees and the beach area.
The staff we always ready to help if ever we needed anything and Ulysses kindly organized a New Year's celebrations complete with fireworks and food. We were also able to hire their boat to make a trip to one of the nearby islands.
In all, we should have stayed for an entire week but we were unable to do so due to the typhoon which prevented all ferries from travelling on our anticipated day of arrival. Ulysses kindly refunded our money for the first night, as we had to book alternative accommodation on the mainland as a result.
Sunday Flower certainly doesn't offer you 5-star luxury, but if that's what you're looking for, I'd suggest that Bantayan is not the place for you anyway. We loved the fact that the island is still pretty uncommercialized and that we were just able to chill there.
We definitely didn't regret choosing the Sunday Flower and we very much hope to go back there again in the future.

wonderful hotel in a great location
right by the nicest beach of bantayan, helpful staff, clean rooms

we loved staying in sunday flower because it was so quiet there and the rooms were clean and comfortable. the staff was very kind so we felt safe to ask them travel questions.
we loved that the beach was right by the resort and it was absolutely, much better than virgin island.
Restaurant Tip:
blue ice for crab and sizzling pork. HR for butterflied prawns, and HR bar for drinks.

Beautiful beach with white sands and lots of boat
Good sized rooms, comfortable with back door to beach

its just around the corner from Santa Fe so you cant see the messy town beach , ships and jetty... but surrounded by locals brightly painted outrigger fishing boats and there kids playing on the beach....pituresque
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
take a pedal trike to the resort from the jetty only takes 10min..then they will organise a motorcycle for you to experience the island
