Met and exceeded expectations

Private bathroom, AC, and location
I was pleased with this hotel. The room was perfect for a single person or a couple. The AC never failed in spite of the excessive heat outside. The breakfast was surprisingly good with a lot of options including eggs and plenty of juices and coffee. The private bathroom was slightly tight but certainly functional and updated. Overall a solid experience and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Good hotel if you are alone in your room.

Good location, great staff, good breakfast,
Uncomfortable because the room and bathroom are tiny. Bathroom is very small, can only accommodate one person at a time (not possible for two people to walk through). Other than that, the hotel is centrally located, has a great staff and is very well maintained. The hotel itself does not have a restaurant for lunch or dining but is close to a lot of good eating places, all within 5 to 10 minutes walk.

Great Location and Staff

Staff, location and cleanliness
I stayed un this hotel with my family for four nights before relocating from Rome to Dubai and everything was great, from the breakfast in the morning till the time we went to sleep in the night. The location is perfect, walking distance from Via Veneto, Piazza Barberini, Via del Tritone, Via del Corso, Piazza di Spagna and many other landmarks in Rome. The room was quite spacious and clean, the only thing it could be improved was the shower pipe in the bath tub because it did not fix properly at its support in the wall and it caused the water going everywhere in the bathroom. All the staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful, with a particular mention for Ginevra, a kind lady full of energy at the reception, and a German guy (unfortunately I gorgot his name) who spent 38 years in Italy who was so helpful with us during check out. Strongly suggested for your stay in Rome!

Great location, smart hotel

Great location, good breakfast, helpful staff
Location is great. Walking distance from piazza di Spagna. Very easy to reach by car as just outside the limited traffic zone ztl. The hotel has seen better times, but still have some appeal. The breakfast buffet was good, with many different choices. The room unfortunately was really really small, I mean, really small. But for a couple of days we survived it. Staff was helpful and they all played with our little kid, and gave us high chair for him for breakfast, and were ready to help at any moment.

Comfortable and accomodating!

Comfortable accommodations for the price. Convenient location to Via Veneto. Helpful and accomodating staff!
The hotel manager accommodated our request to add a bed for my nephew to our 4 person room. The extra bed was set up quickly and efficiently in our room which was originally booked for our family of 4. The Ludovisi staff answered all of our questions about the best way to get to the tourist sights we wanted to visit. They gave great advice on nearby restaurants and how to get there. Shortly after our arrival the staff brought us complimentary fruit and a bottle of wine. The included buffet breakfast was more than I expected. There was a nice variety of food that was fresh and replenished throughout the breakfast session. My husband, sons (ages 17 and 20), and my 17 year old nephew had plenty to eat and thoroughly enjoyed the food options, especially the fresh prosciutto. After checking out, the staff were happy to let the boys wait and the manager securely held onto our luggage so the boys didn't have to hold the bags. I would definitely stay at the Ludovisi Palace Hotel again!
