Never Again
The hotel has wonderful photos and the reviews extoll the cleanliness etc. When you drive up to the hotel it really is spectacular. Then I tried to check in and for 20 minutes the clerk just insisted I give her my booking number. Finally I pointed to the pile of 3 reservation on the desk and asked her to look for mine. - After checking in I asked the hotel to please have a taxi waiting for me at 4 pm as I had an important meeting to go to. I came down at 4 pm and no taxi. The clerk asked where I was going and started to look for a taxi on her cell phone. She told me 5 minutes, so i went to the front door to wait. 10 minutes later I checked at the desk, and the clerk informed me the app was not working on her phone. The bell hop rushed over to save the day, and volunteered to go to the main road on his bike to flag down a taxi. - The room was clean at first glance, but then you look at the bathroom floor and it is coated in white scum all around the edges and corners. The bedroom is at the top of steep stairs with no proper hand rail (very dangerous going down). The door had a hole poked in it. 70 channels on the TV and only found 1 english channel. - The next morning I went down for breakfast (included with the room) - the dining area was overflowing with a tour group and I literally could not get near the food and no hope of a seat. Checked out and had breakfast at the airport. - The Agoda site says there is a shuttle to/from the airport so I had booked it. There was no shuttle waiting when I landed so I took a taxi. It took 15 minutes for the taxi driver to find out where the hotel was, and the hotel phone just beeped and disconnected so we were unable to call. We wound up using the GPS in his phone. Final point - after the meeting I had to flag down 4 cabs before I got one that was willing to take me to the hotel. None of them had heard of it. Even showing them the card from the hotel specifically for taxis, they did not know this hotel. In summary, built

Luxor Hotel Egyptian Hotel in the Desert
Location is far and remote. Plus 11 to 15 China tourist Coaches every day. Internet very poor have to go to particular spot on ground floor to use. No other facility other than a restaurant. Decoration is well and fine, room is clean, staff is helpful One night and I am out of there

Not all theme rooms
Egyptian style throughout the hotel, interesting design.
My room was the only room on the floor without a theme as it seemed they were doing renovations. I feel like I lost out on the Egyptian theme which was mostly why I booked this place. They charge for taxi call service which is ridiculous so I just used grab taxi. Food opened late and decent breakfast menu but when I got there almost all buffet options were cold or lukewarm and almost empty. Ovwrprepared and undereaten or simply did not change heating lamps on buffet trays

Room not clean
Not very good. Our room was just not clean. The bathroom smelled like an Elementary boys bathroom with the smell of urine. Floor carpet just not fresh or clean. Room furniture in bad shape. No really hot water but it was okay. Just maybe a three star but we will probably look elsewhere next time.
