lovely location, in need of a renovation.

location, gardens
Lovely location but aircon/heater very noisy, place in need of a good renovation. Overpriced for what it was and modern photos deceptive.

Average stay

Tranquility, Cleanliness
It was a pleasant stay. We did not eat in the restaurant as we had a function to attend at another venue. I have rated it 3 because this software wants me to put something in the field. I feel that $135 per night was quite expensive for a dated Motel and no breakfast though. For that price a continental breakfast should have been included. Very clean rooms. We probably would not stay there again.

some what disappointed

location, minimal noise, lovely gardens
I was somewhat disappointed with the standard of the room for the price we paid. Although all amenities were present, I felt it was very out dated for the cost.

Pictures and description do not match reality

Garden is all
It was old, backpacker standard yet this is certainly not conveyed in advertising

Barossa on a Budget

Price, Location, Gardens
Existing reviews are accurate, the rooms are not well represented by photos here. Décor is dated and there was a strong cleaning product smell that took awhile to air out. However, for the budget traveller wanting to stay in the Barossa I think this place is well worth it. The gardens are amazing, easily 1-2+ hours worth of wandering trails on the grounds to see the roses (obviously best seen during the right season). It is well located, suggest restaurant Lord Lyndoch down the road for a meal during your stay. Staff are friendly. I would stay there again, but would recommend against it if you are after a luxurious room.

Good looks bad stay

Nice garden views, birds... and large area
The hotel is only good on the outside. The room that we stayed does not match with their advertisement, nor their garden presentations. The room designs is ugly, the bed is unacceptably soft that caused backaches and the toilet is flooded all the time.
