Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Great Location, Small Cosy Room

Very near train station and Temple Street
7.3
the hotel was newly renovated and everthing looks very new. the room is quite cosy. it was very convenient to travel around as the train station (yau ma tei mtr station) entrance is just across the road. not for the superstitious as you can find a coffin shop each, a few shops away on the left and right side of the hotel. however you may also avoid walking pass the shops if you cross the small street in front of the hotel every time and make a small detour. as for the service staffs, some are more friendly than the others. do not expect 4 star hotel service here. the glass wall that separates the bedroom and the bathroom was a bit translucent. not everyone would be comfortable with that.

Nice place to stay in HK

very near MTR
9.3
M Hotel is only a block away from Yau Ma Te MTR Station and only 2 stations away from Tsim Sha Shui, where the branded shops are located in Canton Road. Night market in Temple Street in also very near the hotel. The hotel is clean but small rooms just like any other hotels in Hongkong. It comes with free in-room WIFI and free breakfast. The only thing I dont like is its surroundings. The hotel is besides a meat shop, where you can have your shoes stepped on wet sidewalks, everytime you go in & out of the hotel. Sometimes it's smelly too. There is also a store that displays & sells coffins along the street going to the hotel. What a sight!

Great location but small rooms

Location
6.3
the hotel is only about 5 min walk from the nearest mtr station. very convenient after a long day of shopping. hotel is quite new and clean. however, it is really small (smaller than other hk hotels that i have stayed). the room is full of cigarette smell every single day even though the hotel is a non-smoking hotel. the toilet have frosted glass which can be "see-through" quite clearly from outside which will be very uncomfortable for some. it is also near a coffin shop (2 doors away). in short, only plus point is the location. but would not stay there the next trip, as there are also other better hotel with similar gd location.

Over-rated and Overpriced

New and Clean--for now
5
not close to the 3.5 star rating agoda gives it. it's new, so of course it's clean, but decorated with cheap ikea-type laminated furniture and fixtures. i cannot explain the good ratings others are giving this hotel, except maybe they are not frequent travelers and don't know what a 3.5 star hotel should provide. poorly designed room (little privacy in the bathroom with glass divider wall!) and small. we had a twin deluxe and it was tiny--can't imagine how small the standard is! construction generally sub standard. for example, there's a gap of about 4cm between the floor and the bottom of the door, so you hear every noise in the hallway and see shadows when someone walks outside your door at night. finally, the tiniest twin bed i have ever slept in! you cannot roll over even half way in the bed. it's not close to an international standard twin bed, and for that reason alone does not deserve the 3.5 star rating. a hotel is ultimately about the rest you get and how refreshed you feel in the morning, but they cut that corner too close and fail in the overall game of comfort. but probably two real twin-sized beds wouldn't have fit in the rooms anyway! i give it a 2.0 star rating compared to the 100+ hotels i've stayed in in asia over the years.
