Excellent and great value for money!!

Unpleasant stay
Location. Location. Location.
During our 3rd stay at this hotel, we were still pissed off as the lift didn't work and they kept giving us a room at 6th floor. All they could do was having a staff (same guy, and the nicest guy there I guess) helping to carry our luggages to our room. And that was it. They didn't even bother to inform us that we'd need to leave the key whenever we went out, and when we didn't, the key wouldn't work and we'd need to walk down to the lobby to reactivate the key and walk 6 floors up again. I didn't know why fixing the lift took so long, but one week after we still had to walk up and down every time. Bad experience at this hotel. And some of the staff were really rude.

Location. Location. Location.
We split our stay into 3. And our first stay at Magenta 38 was so so. The room was tiny. The bathroom was 70% clean. However, the staff (the lady with indian accent) was so nice, she kept our luggages for 10 days when we travelled around without staying at the hotel (she asked us to sign a paper and stuff, but still). But that was the only plus we had for this hotel, beside its convenient location.

Easter weekend in Paris
Big bathroom, close to subway station, location was ok
It was good enough, stayed in a triple room - house keeping only put 2 bath towels every time which was annoying. Lots of sirens can be heard from the main road, but good enough stay.

It was nice. Nearly got mugged before I arrived to the hote. Scared the hell out of me. The location though near gard du noR it is quite scary. The hotel was nice and cleaN
