Makka is just OK

location, staff
7.7
Overall not a bad place to stay and the location was great for the Sunday market. The not so good things were the breakfast choices, the loud rooms (every step of people above us was amplified - even the small children), and the room leaked during the rain (even though a first flor location).

Very good, awesome staff, but a little overpriced, no view from the window, room a little small for a 4 star.

Boutique experience in Chiangmai

design, cleaness and comfort
8.7
It is an exccellent hotel with great design, comfortable rooms and nice Staff. Rooms are not very large. we stayed on 1st floor and it was a good choice as groundfloor rooms with garden access have no garden. Windows do not open what is not bad due to mosquitos. However on negative side- A/C is very noisy and difficult to operate. Also bathroom is extremally small.

There are loads of mosquitos. They seem to be coming into the rooms via the air con system. The breakfast salad and fruits looked fresh at all. Have been ill two days while staying here. The staff did not notice nor offered any help.
