nice suprise
large shower, big room and clean
I enjoyed it but it was very hot I only realised I had to turn the radiator off on the second night. Great location and I had a renovated room.

Location, staff friendliness, receiving a bigger room than we had booked for no extra charge :)
A perfectly serviceable hotel for a short break. Being Dublin there was a mob of lunatic "lads" staying on our floor throwing noisy drunken parties throughout Saturday night, but I suppose that comes with the territory. The brasserie and breakfast bar could have benefited from a vegan option (just one dish, a salad, a soup, pasta and tomato sauce, anything really!), so we didn't eat there. Other than that, it was adequate for the price.

Cannot recommend
For the price, I expected a lot more. There was no air conditioning (had to open the window), the sheets were not changed during our whole stay, and there was no room safe. The worst was not being told our room was smoking. My wife suffered headaches for days because of the smell before we figured it out. The location is decent, and staff friendly and accommodating.

Suited our needs!
The Pearse Hotel is about a fifteen minute walk from the centre of Dublin. If this is your first (and perhaps only) visit, perhaps being more central would suit better. However, this was not our first visit and we appreciated being a little bit out of the way in a non-touristy area. About five minute's walk from the hotel (opposite direction of town) is the Grand Canal with a variety of local shops and pretty landscape. The hotel was fine (comfortable beds, good AC) ...

A bit like staying in a hostel...
Friendly, helpful staff. Food in the restaurant quite good.
An okay hotel, although you can get better deals in Dublin I think. The staff were lovely and helpful, although I tried to make a local call from my room, and was told that I would have to come down to reception to swipe my credit card before I could do that! Bathroom facilities consisted of a refillable soap dispenser; felt like I was staying in a hostel...

Good basic hotel
Large rooms, good breakfast, didn't charge us to use reception phone to make a call to UK
Located a little further from city centre than we would have liked (15 mins walk) but easy to order taxis from reception and there's a bus stop across the road. The hotel itself offered comfortable accommodation. I'm a very light sleeper but had 2 perfect nights' sleep. Breakfast was a good self-serve fry up or continental. There was no safe in our room. Only soap and shower gel in the bathroom so bring your own moisturiser and shower cap. Would recommend for families/groups of friends but not for a romantic break.

premier league standard
The most comfortable beds ever............
Cant think of one.........
Stayed at The Premier Inn, Liverpool for the opening day of the Premier League. It is ideally situated. Only a two minute walk from the madness of Matthew Street or the cool Concert Square. and on matchday, it costs only 7 or 8 quid in a taxi to either Anfield or Goodison(if you're desperate). nice resaurant and bar, good food and value for money. Really would recommend this place to my friends. The most comfortable beds ever...............
