Me and my wife enjoyed our honeymoon at Malisa hotel. As honeymooners they gave the whole fridge amneties free for us throug out our stay. We ordered bfast to be serve in the villa as we did want to wake up so early to go to the restaurant. The plus is the privacy as it was a coincidence that a friend of ours stayed as well at Malisa but we did not even bump into them!One bad thing is they mistakenly thrown my phiten bracelet which I was a bit mad but due to my honeymoon, i did not make much fuss about it.

Malisa Villa Suites Hotel
Quiet, villa well maintained, privacy, nice facilities in room (jacuzzi, pool)
Staff are courteous and helpful. Good place for a romantic get away with your partner as you hardly bumped into the other guest and have what you need in your villa except for food. within a short walking distance to the beach which is great but not much shopping around that area. Overall a great place for couples but not so for family with kids as there are no facilities for children to enjoy themselves within the premises.

Malisa Villa Suites Hotel
In room pool, totally private.
Food is expensive at the hotal, but there are cheap places to eat outside the front gate.
The hotel was a good place to relax even if it rains, large choice of movies to watch and books to read.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Take a hotal massage

Just love it, they've got everything you need inside the room. They have a big sofa, very nice smoking area, very nice pool with waterfall, fantastic kitchen if you like to cooking. Very nice bedroom, very nice bed. Free wifi at the room. Very cold air-con which you know in Thailand hard to find. The bathroom design was very good, best part.
This is a very very great hotel, very good service. They serve you at the welcome lobby with jasmine flower & nice drink. Very nice bed, and I love the privacy! Nice place for smoking. Nice bedroom, nice bathroom, nice design of everything! Very close to Patong 15mins taxi.
Just go outside of the hotel, very nice food all around you.

Excellent Romantic Stay
Private pool with built-in waterfall and jacuzzi
Clean spacious bathroom
Private jacuzzi in bathroom
Free DVD rentals, wifi and laptop rental
Good location with many food options
Personalised welcome card
definitely recommended for couples. despite the bad weather, the villa was self-contained. the jacuzzi pool was nice and warm despite the chilly weather. spacious rooms, and luxurious bathroom, complete with jacuzzi. only negative points were the mosquitoes, and perhaps the morning noises from the villa next door. all in all, a fantastic stay. highly recommended, especially for couples seeking a romantic stay.
Hotel Feature Tip:
No need for the breakfast. Food is readily available nearby.

Best stay ever at Malisa Suites! Must try it out!
Hotel staff (fr receptionists to cleaners and guards) are very friendly!
Breakfast spread is fantastic! Lots of choices to choose from.
Room and pool is very clean!
this was the 2nd time returning back to malisa just shortly 1 month after. love the place! private moments with ur friends/love ones in the villa and also have ur own private pool for exclusive usage.
the villas are also near to kata beach which is easily walkable!
the chambermaids are very honest.. as we just left our valuables such as laptops, cameras, mobile phones and some cash on the side table during cleaning, nothing has gone missing!(of cos its always recommended to keep in a safe or ur own bag)
i will definately return back to the villa again, if i am heading to phuket again..
most importantly, value for money! and thumb up for the relaxation there!

Worth every penny of it!!!
Good location if you want a quiet location away from Patong. The private sacuzzi pool is a big draw. The friendly staff makes the stay enjoyable.
My wife and I wanted a relaxing getaway and the private plunge pool is definitely the main draw for us. The villa is also well equipped and we did some cookings of our own. In any case, many shops and restaurants are within 10 mins walk from the villa. Likewise, the beach is within 5 mins walk. So, location is good as everything is so assessible. One thing to note is the mosquito. Though the villa has the necessary preparation, we bought additional mosquito coils. Nevertheless, we will choose this villa when back in Phuket again.
Motor-cycle is a good and cheaper option to see the place. Otherwise, tuk-tuk is recommended. Private car can be costly at about 400 baht just to Patong. Return trip will cost you twice the amount.

Will stay Again..
Location-Very close to the beach, shopping
Friendly helpful Staff
My wife and I just returned from a 5 day stay at Malisa. The staff was very helpful and friendly,the grounds very quiet and well kept. Close to the beach and shopping areas. Only problem I had was we stayed 5 days and the pool wasn't refilled. By the 4th day we couldn't use the jet on the pool as it was above the water line.Will happily stay there again.

3 Weeks at Malisa - An honest review
* Wonderful staff
* Decent sized pool
* Huge breakfast
* Free mini bar (including 3 beers a day!)
* Free wi-fi
We were on our honeymoon and we decided to stay at Malisa for 3 weeks in the Grand Pool Villa. Our plane was delayed by 10hrs. I notified the hotel and they got a cab for us which was great.
Arriving at night, the hotel seems just like the pictures. Very clean, new and luxurious. However, after a while, you slowly realise a few things require maintenance, such as leaks when it rains, 2 out of 4 pool lights work, semi-warm water available in hot-tub (shower was fine), sliding door slightly crooked. None of these are major, except for the mould that we identified in the airconditioner, which was promptly removed.
Over look these few issues and the place is lovely. The staff provided wonderful service, the pool is a great size for two people, there is a lot to chose from on the breakfast menu and the mini bar is free. The LCD is 32-inch which is fine for the bedroom. They have a selection of DVDs, books and games at the gym. The hotel is situated in a great location on Kata Beach. Other reviews that say the beach is along way probably have been spoiled with beach side resorts. It is a 5-minute powerwalk from the front desk.
We ordered food from the Nanta restaurant and always ate at the Villa. We saw one couple dine in the restaurant only one night. When we ordered food it was good but not excellent. The prices are high, similar to what you would pay for a restaurant meal in Australia, but not a hotel meal (more expensive).
Watch out at breakfast. The birds will quick swoop your danish and egg and bacon. Having an outdoor kitchen has it's draw backs.
The walls are pretty thin, as we experiences a very vocal Spanish speaking couple who played loud music and spoke at the top of their voices. Otherwise, it was very quiet.
We had maybe two mozzies the whole time we were there, although we made sure the doors to the bedroom were always closed. The hotel did some fumigation twice while while we were there, plus they come and spray your roo
I got food poisoning from Dubai restaurant. Usual story, eat where there are lots of people! There is a banana pancake store nearby that comes at night. Good pancakes! For more expensive but very good dining, try two chefs and the boathouse.
