Nice resort but food is just soso

spacier rooms
Everything is good except the food at the restaurant, buffet doesn't have much option, and A La Cart is just so so . Anyway, it's still a good place to spend few days for a holiday.

Disappointing quality and very overpriced - food, activities, wifi... Staff were unhelpful and wouldn't even help me book my transfers in advance. Very disappointed. The best thing about this resort is that there is a backpackers along the beach where food and activities are more reasonably priced and staff were helpful and friendly. Go somewhere else instead.

November 2014- Mana Island

Initially we were greeted by a party of hotel staff singing a welcome song. We were then taken to the lounge to complete our check in. From there we were left with a map to find our own room. Overall we were very surprised to find that the staff were not very friendly, one example being lining up at reception to drop off laundry due at 8am with 10 guests behind us, one staff member having great difficulty serving and many other s wandering past ignoring the queue of guests requiring assistance, we were then turned away as the person was unable to assist with the laundry. The hotel also has many signs discouraging guests to exit the resort, even a security guard turning people back. Just past this security guard we found a fantastic little backpackers serving meals at less than half the prices of the hotel. The rooms could do with some maintenance, particularly the air conditioning (very noisy) and the hot water (hot/cold/hot without adjustments). The outdoor showers were a nice feature.

What a waist of time

The beach bar, making fun of people , and leaving
I had 3 nights between arriving by ship , and flying out of nadi . I did not want to spend all 3 in nadi or on the main land , So I booked 2 nights at mana . When the ferry arrived at the jetty , it was a constriction sight . ....from reception on it was very generic . The "resort" ? Was full of late 20/ 30 something year olds with young kids from Australia whom seemd to have never seen A beach , or sand Before in there lives and would not shut up about the coconut palms , or how warm it was , and mumie , " where's the air -con" BLAH The food was over priced , and ,,,, ok . There was one one WONDERFULL staff member who went out of his way to help me , and his name is Jim , LOVELY guy . Other than that I couldn't wait to leave ..
