Nice place to stay

Delicious food, nice staff, best location
I was in this hotel many times and I have to tell that services are still better. It is good location for shoping and other places you need to see. Veri delicious meals and big brunches. This time there was construction of new building next to the hotel so I ask them to change the room. They change it very quickly. Do not také any taxi and tuk tuk in front of the hotel they can rip you off.

Great Hotel but pool has construction overhead

Location and bed
It was good, but there is a building construction going on right over the pool. Very loud and not very comfortable at the pool.

Bus Loads of Tourists at This Hotel

air conditioning, shampoo, towels
The breakfast room is loaded with bargain basement tourist types. It is kind of scary to watch them eat, and they certainly make a lot of noise (not only in the breakfast room but in the halls at all hours of the night as well). This was once a nice hotel, but it is kind of crazy now. Oh! The hotel no longer changes sheets every day! Yuk!

Modern Hotel in the heart of night life

Sleek furnishings, clean modern rooms, abundant buffet breakfast
Was my 2nd time there, the 1st was just for 1 night, this time 3 nights, close to Silom so could walk there, secure rooms, need key to operate elevator. Magic toilets in the rooms took some getting used to. Great water pressure in the shower, good hot water supply. Love their shampoo and bath gel, smelled like ginger, very nice. Most of the guests are tourist, and come in groups so can be loud and inconsiderate, a minor annoyance. There is major construction going on next to the hotel, so there is noise in the day till late eve. The breakfast buffet is catered to all tastes, but plenty of fresh fruit, egg station to order, juice , coffee , tea, a variety of breads and pastries, even fresh salad greens with a choice of dressings. Check in was smooth, and check out was even smoother. A little too modern for my taste, but may return again.

appearance-wise its nice but not experience-wise

Spa, appearance, big bed
The hotel itself looks very nice. But the reception staff are quite grumpy. They're short with you and don't really make you feel like they want to help. I felt with a female and a male and both made me feel like an English idiot. The kitchen/restaurant staff and porter staff were very nice though. The breakfast needs massive improvements. The breakfast food was 90% catered for Chinese people. The English omelettes and streaky bacon was only served if you went to the kitchen and asked for it! The sausages were not sausages whatsoever. They looked like frankfurter sausages but tasted like plastic. The room was smaller than usual Thailand hotels. The bathroom sink took forever and a day to drain the water out after having a shave. The toilet was very cool though as it offered different kinds of washes as u sat down (posterior and lady washes!). I don't think I'll visit again because the staff just didn't make me feel grateful for my custom, nor did their meals cater for anyone other than the Chinese.
